b/c the sox had way too many chances to win these games and still blew it
7/20/2006 6:44:16 PM
have i mentioned lately that I hate Magglio?
7/20/2006 11:00:52 PM

7/21/2006 10:42:37 AM
comin in 3rd place that is
7/21/2006 10:49:46 AM
dont be jealous at our 7 game win streak while you guys are only now THREE AND A HALF GAMES AHEAD OF USdont worry though, lots of champions rest on their laurels and dont even make the playoffs the next year
7/21/2006 11:07:36 AM
wow winning against cleveland and tampa bay is really something to be proud of meanwhile the big kids just finished 3 consecutive series against boston, new york, and detroit.you know, teams with "winning" records?
7/21/2006 11:36:42 AM
the big kids just lost their series to detroitholler back if you are alive to see a 2nd world series title...i've already seen two from my teamalso wtf do you mean teams with "winning" records]
7/21/2006 11:37:52 AM
but ask yourself, did we prove anything during this winning streak?yes, you proved you could sweep a team that is 20.5 games back in its division (TB) and sweep a team that is 21.5 games back in its division (CLE)you have the AL's best team, the AL's second best team and the team that's 1.5 out in the West coming up over the next 2 weeks.win those, and you'll prove something[Edited on July 21, 2006 at 11:39 AM. Reason : little late. gg Crede]
7/21/2006 11:38:43 AM
teams that have won more games than they've lost = winning recordswhile a winning streak is nice, it's much more impressive when it's against good teams
7/21/2006 11:39:14 AM
^last i checked we were 54 and 40...for some reason that sounds like winning more than losing
7/21/2006 11:40:29 AM
THE TEAMS THEY PLAYED GET IT?
7/21/2006 11:41:24 AM
i think he's talking about the teams that gave you your 7-game win streak
7/21/2006 11:41:49 AM
who cares...we dont make the schedules...we played the same shit teams that you play alsoi'd rather beat the devil rays than LOSE to the tigerswe're 4 games behind the sox...that is a FACT]
7/21/2006 11:42:34 AM
right you guys have won 7 straight while the sox have lost 7 out of 9and you are still 3.5 4 games back[Edited on July 21, 2006 at 11:45 AM. Reason : 4 then, you said 3.5 earlier im not gonna check]
7/21/2006 11:45:05 AM
The Twins have the best 1-3 in baseball now that Radke is pitching very well again. They are fully capable of making a run at the wildcard AND the division. As we saw last year, there is a chance that one or both of the two leaders will falter down the stretch and the Twins, if they can stay relatively healthy (and get Hunter back soon), will be right there.
7/21/2006 11:46:13 AM
FACT: the twins are in third place. the white sox presently own the AL wild card.
7/21/2006 11:46:48 AM
Ok. Who is arguing that? There is no question that the Twins have been the hottest team in baseball since Liriano was put in the rotation. That division is beastly though...
7/21/2006 11:50:46 AM
liriano's numbers are still good, but not as good as they were before the break. factor in the fact that his last two starts have come against against tampa and cleveland and I would wait to see how he does yet. he doesn't really even have a start against an outstanding team yet (see: http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7504/splits;_ylt=AiMkhrRskk75DQM7zOlx3rGFCLcF).
7/21/2006 11:54:42 AM
the funny thing is the white sox are my second favorite team (charlotte knights) but the twins are my favorite teamand btw a lot can happen in 70 games
7/21/2006 11:59:23 AM
I get shit for being a fan of the Mets and Sox (red kind). But this is just ridiculous. That would be like me saying I'm a Mets and Braves fan. In other words, it's impossible.
7/21/2006 12:00:23 PM
^^^ good researchthe best team he has started against is 2 games over .500EVERY OTHER TEAM IS BELOW .500
7/21/2006 12:02:44 PM
i'll pull for the twins over ANYBODY including the soxbut i follow ballers in their farm system like big Ernie Youngits not like i'm pulling for state and carolina or anythingthough i did about get my ass beat at US Cellular for saying im a Twins fan...everybody calmed down though when i told them i hated the Indians and Cubs

8/14/2006 11:14:25 AM
The Tigers are in some trouble. It really wouldn't surprise me to see them fall apart like your boys did late last year. Problem is that you had a ridiculous lead and they don't..We'll see.
8/14/2006 3:10:48 PM
Still a 5.5 game lead. Not quite so sure what you guys are gloating about.
8/14/2006 3:13:34 PM
maybe the fact that there are 7 games left and we have taken 9 of 12 so far
8/14/2006 3:23:27 PM
bttti'm hoping for a 2-2 split haha
8/21/2006 4:29:23 PM

8/22/2006 9:36:05 PM
i worked a ton and had 4 softball games[Edited on August 22, 2006 at 11:01 PM. Reason : .]
8/22/2006 11:00:55 PM
The heads up record doesn't matter. All that matters is who wins the division, and if someone wins a WC.
8/23/2006 4:54:20 PM
of course the one game that is on tv comes on the one night i cant be home for it^and the only reason the heads up record matters if the sox stay wherer they are right now is it might give an indication of playoff head-to-head matchupand most importantlybragging rights
8/23/2006 6:52:33 PM
