i just want to hear your waxing story again. that's the most erotic shit ever
7/10/2006 10:15:41 PM
How do you run barefoot with shoes on? Seriously though, I've heard good things about those shoes...from hippys that is.
7/10/2006 10:16:19 PM
bethaleigh...would you ever go home with me from a bar?If you PM me a smiley, I'll get the hint.
7/10/2006 10:17:21 PM
I could never stand to wear those damn things, just walk around barefoot and your feet will toughen up
7/10/2006 10:18:30 PM
i should've said that it gives you the flexibility and benefits of running barefoot with additional protection of a thin, strong shoe.^ its good for running in real dirty places like in the city, like where there might be debris that could cut your feet, like glass. but anywhere else, running barefoot is ftw and your feet will toughen up in no time]
7/10/2006 10:18:43 PM
I can go to bars, but I cant drink. So I would be driving...to my house.
7/10/2006 10:19:21 PM
I am horny, and really want a blonde's breasts in my face.
7/10/2006 10:19:32 PM
Better go find that hooker. Cuz I'm going to bed, and taking my boobs with me! I have really sensitive feet but I grew up running around barefoot. You wouldn't believe some of the things I've stepped on! My feet are pretty tough compared to most people, but when it comes to rocks you can forget about it. When I go to the beach, I walk/run barefoot, and my feet hurt for about a day. Then they get used to it and toughen up. I can only imagine what running barefoot on hard surfaces does for your feet.[Edited on July 10, 2006 at 10:23 PM. Reason : ]
7/10/2006 10:20:45 PM
which hooker?
7/10/2006 10:21:08 PM
I can sprint a lot faster barefoot than with shoes. The problem is that I might step on glass and NEVER RUN AGAIN.
7/10/2006 10:29:54 PM
just watch where you step, know where glass normally is and try to remember where you have seen glass before. If you see a piece of glass pick it up and throw it away so you don't step on it later.I've gone barefoot for years and so far I have never stepped on glass
7/10/2006 10:33:13 PM
even nike has admitted that running barefoot might very well be better for runners than using some high-tech shoe:http://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/23/fashion/thursdaystyles/23Barefoot.html?ex=1277179200&en=689f68a53a34414c&ei=5090&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss
7/10/2006 10:33:29 PM
I also sometimes run at night.
7/10/2006 10:33:58 PM
that could be a problem
7/10/2006 10:37:59 PM
Thanks for this thread. Awesome.
7/10/2006 10:39:39 PM
those Nike Free shoes are similar and let you run barefoot. However they provide a little support too, you can choose the insole you have and how much arch support it provides. I have them, and the first time I ran in them I got a cramp in my foot, but other than that they are pretty good shoes if you don't want to go all the way barefoot.
7/10/2006 10:39:45 PM
bttt for barefoot running ]
7/14/2006 5:03:33 PM
barefoot sport in general can be good. I play ultimate barefoot all the time. but you have to be careful, i just kicked the back of some guys heel barefooted and sprained the hell out of my toe.
7/14/2006 5:09:16 PM

I went for my first run since October, and only made it about 1.5 miles. My feet have definitely softened up a lot, and I think I'm going to have to start building up calluses again... I might have some pretty blisters to pop when I wake up tomorrow morning ]

1/24/2007 9:11:41 PM
i wish i could wear them. i severely overpronate and i have high arches. if i don't wear my stupid insoles in really supportive and stable shoes, my knees swell up and hurt like shit.i really want a pair of those shoes though ):
1/24/2007 9:46:50 PM
get some nike free's kevin...
1/26/2007 12:42:30 PM
are those any good, or is it just some sales gimmick and they really feel like normal running shoes?
1/26/2007 12:46:18 PM
that article from NYT shows that they are just about equivalent to barefoot... they just provide some protection from sharp objects.... but i'd still go to a store and try them out....
1/27/2007 2:15:56 PM
Had a nice run today, about 2.5 to 3 milesmy feet are finally starting to toughen up again after the winter break
