It cracks me up that he makes a big deal out of possible plargiarism (even though he has no proof the Einstein stole anyone's ideas), yet when I presented clear evidence that the Protocols of the Elders of Zion was a plagiarized hoax, he ignored it and said that it doesn't matter if it was plagiarized because it's true.

this is by far the funniest trolling yet salisburyboy. While I understand the cacophony of voices leveled against the boy, I'm glad theDuke866 has allowed us to partake in this nonsense. I think we all know it's nonsense, probably even the boy himself.Einstein's equation E=mc^2 is not just a stand-alone equation. It's derived and interpreted in terms of a cogent whole of physical discussion. We know length contraction was thought of by Lorentz before Einstein ( that's why it's called Lorentz contraction ), and for that matter all of Newtonian mechanics is included in special relativity. Anyway, special relativity would likely been found with or without Einstein. It can be derived on the basis of assuming electromagnetism is true, so the equations of special relativity are probably not Einstein's greatest gift to physics. What he gave was a physical interpretation, so equations aren't really the big thing when it came to special relativity. General Relativity would have been difficult to imagine w/o the physical interpretation given by Einstein, if we had endorsed the earlier ideas by Lorentz and other's that used some combination of ad-hoc mechanical effects and the ether then we would not have been as focused on issues of coordinate invariance. The idea of general coordinate invariance is a natural generalization of special relativity written in 4D-notation. So, sure Einstein didn't do everything but that's how physics works, it's a confluence of many authors work, Einstein just gets more credit cause he did alot of the hardest work. Besides, as nastoute pointed out, Einstein did alot more than just relativity. I must say I think he was a very selfish and bad man if half of what I saw on the recent PBS special about his 1st wife was correct. But, if you want to give an example of an overly credited scientist then Hawkings is my pick. There are many who have done more interesting and influential work during his career.
6/28/2006 4:00:41 PM
How can we know who is controlling Hawkings computer. Maybe he is just a front.
6/28/2006 5:41:49 PM
6/28/2006 6:55:53 PM
Perhaps, but I don't really care so much what people think about my spelling. And if that is what you base your opinion of my knowledge of physics on then to bad for you. I would hope that content would outweight grammar, but then I suppose you'd have to understand the content...

Wait, you mean scientists use the results of their peers to develop and improve knowledge of the mechanics of the universe?$100 says that salisburyboy cannot name the discovery for which Einstein won his Nobel prize (without looking it up).
6/29/2006 12:44:42 AM
^ that's not fair to the boy, his only means of communication is cutting and pasting, if he doesn't look it up then how can he copy it?

When I think of an inbred moron who couldn't tie his shoes, married his cousin, had 2 mentally deficient/ill children (one of whom was diagnosed with schizophrenia and died in an asylum), plagiarized the work of others, and is held up by the Jewish-controlled media as some kind of superhuman "genius"....I think of Einstein's fugly mug.

I had sex with Albert Einstein, and he kept calling this one move "The Einstein." I tried to explain to him that he did not invent the ole butt thumbing, but he called me a liar and from then on made a point of always saying "The Einstein" in bed.
6/30/2006 8:25:13 PM
To be fair, since there is no true static frame of reference with regards to space and time, you can't relaly say for certain that he didn't invent the butt-thumb.
