I don't think we should shout out "RED" during the national anthem, it sounds disrespectful, and kinda dumb, but whatever...
7/13/2006 5:28:19 PM
stfu, n00b...RED!!!![Edited on July 13, 2006 at 6:18 PM. Reason : no premie]
7/13/2006 6:18:41 PM
RED!!!!
7/13/2006 6:33:24 PM
i always thought it would be sweet to have the players come up from underneth the field , like an elevator straight up out of nowhere on the 50
7/13/2006 7:45:52 PM
^ what the fuck?? tell me you are joking
7/13/2006 7:54:31 PM
i think we should parachute our starters in for football
7/13/2006 8:00:51 PM
i can't stop laughing at the last couple of posts.
7/13/2006 10:39:56 PM
man, fuck you, it would be sweet as hellhave some smoke and shit some dope music, they come up out of the ground like badasses
7/13/2006 10:45:03 PM
by week 3 the opponents would bring giant mallets and hit our players as soon as each of them came out of the hole
7/13/2006 11:04:40 PM
^^maybe our players should ride onto the field on their scooters.....what other lame ideas are you full of
7/13/2006 11:39:30 PM
7/14/2006 12:12:40 AM
^^^^Are you high or just that stupid? Not only would that look like a cheap magic trick after the first few times, I can't imagine the complications and expense of installing an underground elevator into the middle of a football field.
7/14/2006 12:15:53 AM
man, they do that shit all the time at concerts, it would be that hard at allit wouild be really sweet if they came up out oif the ground allready in formation and shit, and then hike the ball and do a badass play to set the tone
7/14/2006 12:17:43 AM
holy crap, this is too funny.
7/14/2006 12:23:07 AM

Here's a tradition that might HELP the football team win a game.... Show some support. Get to the stadium early, be in your seats at Kick-off!! Come show support for the team when they get to the stadium, it's announced before every game when the team will be arriving at the Murphey Center.[Edited on July 14, 2006 at 12:47 AM. Reason : .]

getting pepper sprayed after a big win is always fun!How about Mr. Wuf as the starting QB for the first play.
7/14/2006 1:47:03 PM
^^ man, fuck you, get off this system with that mess
7/14/2006 1:51:12 PM
I think the Running of the Wolves is the best idea on here. It would be unique and exciting. Its kinda like A&M's 12th man.
7/14/2006 2:46:07 PM

Get off my Elevator

7/14/2006 4:31:38 PM
i did like the Running of Wolves was a good name, glad i thought of that. cant take credit for the idea though...
7/14/2006 4:43:14 PM
^^ man, they can work all that shit out, just think about it though would be fucking tightyou could have the cover slide off to the side, like split in too and slide into the side of the ground and smoke would cover most of it
7/14/2006 4:53:43 PM
7/14/2006 5:16:45 PM
If we had live wolves, we'd be undefeated....just saying.
7/14/2006 8:34:43 PM
^^ what is that crap?and it could so be done, it wouldnt be that expenseve, i mean justg some hidraulic lifts and shit, some fake grass
7/17/2006 12:47:55 AM

7/17/2006 9:15:05 AM
lol, this dude is seriousan elevator? come on now
7/17/2006 9:20:32 AM
the elevator sounds pretty awesome. i especially like the part about them coming up and running a badass play.... That thing about students dressing up like wolves and running on the field sounds fucking gay as well. might as well hire some damn furries.Traditions:-the guy that says the "Rat Shit, Bat Shit" thing-"Nuts and Bolts, we get screwed!"-Yearning for Philip Rivers -the fat guy that does the really bad cheers into the megaphone-and of course, WOLFPACK IN THE HOOOOOOOUSE![Edited on July 17, 2006 at 1:00 PM. 7/17/2006 12:57:57 PM

get some of them anniematronic ones and have thme stomping at the ground with flames and smoke comng out of their noses and then charge across the field
7/17/2006 6:59:44 PM
^^i cant believe you people actually think that having a bunch of students dress up in furry suits and run onto the field to "pump people up" will actually look remotely cool. Have you ever seen how dead it gets when the real Mr. Wuf is introduced and allowed to do that for like 5 minutes before games?I'd rather watch the players introduce themselves for an hour before the game.BTW, I dont remember a Tobacco Road song...but if its an old traditional sounding song, that would be pretty cool.oh, and:
7/17/2006 7:11:32 PM
go onto Bearshare or any other P2P program and search for the song Tobacco Road. there are a lot of versions out there. it was written by North Carolina native John D. Loudermilk. it's kind of a hard driving, bluesy song. some artists perform it faster than others though. it would be an easy song for the band to play. a ton of artists have performed/recorded their own version of it, including Hank Williams Jr., David Lee Roth, The Animals, Lou Rawls, Jefferson Airplane, Paul Revere and The Raiders, and many others.i have trouble deciding which version is my favorite.[Edited on July 17, 2006 at 7:31 PM. Waluigi : believe it oh, and more students would be at their seats on time... if you could show up an hour to an hour and a half early and manage to get in by kickoff... i mean we all know how FANTASTIC the ticket system was this past season and everything
7/17/2006 7:42:36 PM
7/17/2006 7:45:29 PM
omg! it mentions tobacco! its perfect!
7/17/2006 7:54:02 PM
umm...actually it was originally written as a depiction of the struggles of poverty felt in the South, especially back in the time of the Great Depression, which was when Loudermilk was born. he was born in Durham by the way. the term "Tobacco Road" while referring to the tobacco producing area of North Carolina has now more commonly been associated with the stretch of road (I-40) that stretches from Raleigh to Winston-Salem, encompassing the region that the Big 4 North Carolina schools (WFU, Duke, UNC, and NCSU) lie in.i thought it would be a cool song to sing, and it can be applied to State in basketball. while we loathe Tobacco Road, b/c of Duke and UNC, we love it b/c it is our home, and we couldn't see us being anywhere else. also the part about getting rich coming back and destroying Tobacco Road and building it back up, would be like us finally winning another National Championship, and coming back and trying to rule it our way. i know it's a bit of a stretch, but my mind tends to think in abstract ways.
