People forget that hitters aren't the only ones taking steroids. Hell, pitchers probably stand to gain MORE than hitters from steroids because of the quicker recovery and overall body strength. Remember, when Babe Ruth was playing a 90mph fastball wasn't average, nowadays we see 90mph sliders.
