carousel in greensboro has theaters ~36 seats. they're leather and the screen is fairly small. but i kinda like those theaters. leather seats, and the four of them that are that size has it's own concession stand with wine and nice things and whatnots.[Edited on May 18, 2006 at 8:47 PM. Reason : it's 4 out of the ?16? screens there]

Yes, I hate stadium seating. The seats in the front are still too close/low, but the seats in the back are too high. If I wanted to look down on a movie, I'd put my TV between my knees. A stadium seating auditorium has 2-3 rows with an optimal viewing angle/distance, as opposed to traditional seating, which has about 15 depending on the auditorium.

the da vinci code is worth the price of admission...so go see it and pay to see it

^^What are you even talking about. I'd say that situation is reversed. There are about 15 useful rows with stadium seating and 2 useful rows with traditional seating. The two useful rows with traditional seating are the ones where no one is sitting directly in front of you... until 5 minutes before the movie starts, then some fat guy comes in and leans the seat back into your knees and makes sure he has good posture so his head blocks 1/2 the screen. Yes, there's no beating that experience.Stadium seating was one of the best things theaters have done in recent years.
