Who would you vote for?Player A (in 261 ABs).336 15 HR 55 RBI .975 OPS 10 SB 34 XBHPlayer B (in 204 ABs).343 8 HR 44 RBI .988 OPS 4 SB 30 XBH

the player on the team with the most wins
6/18/2006 9:30:53 PM
Player B because his defense gives him the edge. Both are respectable numbers now, dont just flat out say A.
6/18/2006 9:31:25 PM
^ I only did it like that for unbiased answers.. obviously me and you know who they are.. both are very deserving..

Here is the latest update for the NL..http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/press_releases/press_release.jsp?ymd=20060619&content_id=1513246&vkey=pr_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlbSweet.. Reyes, Wright, Lo Duca, AND Beltran. It's the Mets show..V I'd probably lean towards Barrett as the C only because McCann only has 150 ABs but I could see him there.. oh and Reyes is HOT right now plus he leads the majors in triples, SB, and runs[Edited on June 21, 2006 at 11:41 AM. Well the Mets are arguably the best team in the NL so four is not unreasonable when you consider how many the Cards were putting on the starting team the past couple of years. Lo Duca does not belong in the All Star game and Reyes has no real competition IMO. Beltran and Wright should definitely be on the team. McCann deserves the Braves spot this year and in reality the starting C spot, but he has no chance in hell of getting voted in. Hopefully Garner will pick him as a backup.

Cano has to be the AL secondbaseman. here was my AL vote:C. Hernandez BAL1B. Giambi NYY2B. Cano NYYSS. Tejada Bal3B. Rodriguez NYYOF. Ichiro seaOF. Guererro LAAOF. Ramirez BOSthere was no DH vote. I believe it is in an NL park this year anyway

^ How the hell do you vote Tejada for 3B?
6/22/2006 9:51:13 AM
It's time to stop with this Scott Rolen ridiculousness.. David Wright is your starting 3B for the NL.
6/22/2006 3:22:08 PM
^ I gotta agree. Rolen is having a great year, but Wright is the future and Rolen's been there enough (and hasn't helped the NL win shit).

6/24/2006 12:06:05 AM
^^ Beltran, Wright, and Reyes all deserve it, without a doubt. I voted for Barrett in a few and McCann in a few others.Oh and I messed up on mine adding a DH in a NL park.^ I'd vote for Andruw only if I knew Beltran would be the starting CF. He has earned every bit of that starting CF job and Andruw should play RF... I know that's petty but whatever.[Edited on June 25, 2006 at 1:48 PM. Reason : x]

I like how Reyes hits .520 this week and loses ground as Jack fucking Wilson closes space. I still have only voted once so maybe I ought to get on this...I'm voting for Ortiz over Konerko just to spite Crede and ncstatetke.
6/26/2006 6:49:10 PM
i believe the tigers should get 4zumaya, ordonez, I-rod and rogersbut we arent popular

6/29/2006 10:30:37 PM
Don't even try to say he deserves it over Beltran. Carlos is beating him in nearly every offensive category.
6/29/2006 10:32:01 PM
so stick carlos in rightgive the more deserving defensive player the centerfield spot
6/29/2006 10:35:20 PM
How about no.. since he doesn't even deserve to start... and he won't.It's gonna be Bay, Soriano, and Beltran.
6/29/2006 10:37:06 PM
i was gonna laugh at that postthen i saw that bay is leading the league in voting, which is unbelievableso you winmaybe they'll put bay in the homerun derby again for some comedic relief
