My Pathfinder is alreay paid off, so I'll just have to suck it up and drive less than necessary. And it sucks because I travel between cities a lot also. The family will just have to do without my smiling face until I come back to Raleigh in Spring 07 unless gas prices drop.

I also bought 10 gallons at the marine diesel pumps, but it wasn't my money

I hardly drive due to where I live, but if I lived somewhere else at the moment I would be in the market for a new car, and no it wouldn't affect my decision (mostly b/c I'm not some idiot that wants an SUV).The gasoline price does (sometimes) affect how fast I drive on long trips. My gas mileage plummets at speeds over 75mph...and I usually like going 80-85[Edited on April 13, 2006 at 1:27 PM. Reason : eek]

Ive got a mustang 5.0, gas mileage advertised at 17/24-which is only correct if you drive like a grandma. I found if you drive it like you stole it in the city you get about 12mpg, if you shift at like 1200rpm, in 5th gear by 40mph, only then do you get the advertised gas mileage
