Most people in NC didn't give a rat's ass about hockey before the Hurricanes. If someone likes hockey, thats great. What I'm saying is that, just b/c they are the best players in the world doesn't mean I want to see them if I don't like the sport. If the best Transvestite Bowlers in the world play at Buffaloe Lanes, are you going to go watch? I'm not. In fact, I'm locking my doors. I love Notre Dame. But I could care less about ND baseball, ND water polo, ND golf, etc. I only like football and basketball. All I'm saying is that it amazes me that people will pay that much to see a sport they don't care about just b/c they think its a big deal.

Ok, Ok. I know there are hockey fans here. But I also have a lot of friends and people I know who go to hockey games who are not fans at all. These are people who have never watched hockey.I know it can happen in all sports. But, from what I've seen, its more understandable when I see people I know who are football and basketball fans jump on bandwagons when Panthers/Hornets/Bobcats start winning. Thats bad enough since a lot of them are not fans when they are losing.Anyway, I wouldn't pay $10 to watch hockey and I wouldn't pay $50 to watch football that I love.

From what I can tell the Rebels' first game in the playoffs is going to be an away game against the Augusta Spartans on Saturday, June 10th @ 7pm.
