How do people like "toyotafj40's" even get into a university with a though process like that? I'm usually open to discuss things with people if they have an IQ higher than their age. Which in his case, neither is very high. Plus, unless you have an MRS, MR2, or Supra; you won't touch a 1.8T with your "Pacesetter" headers. Grow a brain buddy. I used to say live and let live, but as The Wings song goes, "Live and Let Die." Why can't you people just stay on topic? Must have ADHD or something. To answer the original question: a K04 isn't worth the money. GIAC X+ chip is good for 215bhp on the AWW (2001 1.8T's) engine code with no other modifications. With no chiploader module expect to pay about $750 or so. The engine code difference is why I got a 2001 instead of a 2001.5+ years model. Those get 205-210bhp I think. Weird that it works that way, but that is what GIAC advertises. Try these sites:AWS tuning, AWE tuning, Performance Cafe, EIP tuning.I don't care what you drive, it's just whatever floats your boat.
