eh, maybe...but i havent really done anything inside a structure...this might be better to make a 3-d model of your apt. building or something, i dunno

nah, don't use sketchup. There's any number of Office/Room layout programs that will work. They will have built in components (beds, tables, windows, doors) with standard sizings.
