Is it possible yes? But more unlikely than anything. You would have to be lucky as hell to keep traction at that low of a speed.

So plausible - yes

you know, since the lava river is only 6 inches deep and 10 ft. wide, we could just hire an indian guide to caulk it and float it across oregon trail style....

is it 10 feet of red hot molten lava or of slow moving lava that has a crust on it?

What if you used Helium in the Jeep's tires, put them in a big walk in freezer overnight and put them on just before driving over the lava?
