Unfortunately I've met many "bad coders" who use that as job security. Oh... want to replace me? Good luck figuring shit out. The worst ones are the the guys who leave absolutely no comments anywhere... at all. My personal favorite was the module obsessed freak who did ITT.edu's website before I got it (no cracks, it's been out of my hands now for over a year). One page had 47 modules. 47 includes... and some of THOSE had modules on them. I had to laugh as this page didn't even have a form on it. I took it down to 8 and the page loaded so much faster. I can understand the need to quickly reference code... but jesus christ...
