I'm of the Evangelical Lutheran Council of America (Lutheran)... Primarilaly "Lutheran" or as Dana Carvy puts it "Catholic Lite"

I'm more socially liberal than most of my congregation. I guess it spills over into politics and my libertarianism. For the large part, I don't give a shit what other people do. I have my own sins to worry about. I can pray for them, but I pray for myself and those I love as well. I am no better than a person who commits sin in any form.

I'll cast the first stone when I get my life perfect.

I don't look outward, but inward. I don't seek to create converts, but I hope to serve as an example and to share what little I know about God with those who are curious. It's not my place to tell anyone, be it Muslim or girl in a short skirt that they are going to Hell. It is not my place to make that judgement.

Those are my ideals... by nature, I frequently fail to acheive them. But, it's my faith that I should try and keep the faith.

I get's by, with a little help from my Savior y'know... after having experienced what I believe to be a "miracle" after all.

I'd say your attitude is getting more and more common. Especially the whole socially liberal/libertarian yet not a contemporary/progressive/newage Christian like people might think. Saw this come up a few times in SoapBox. I pretty much feel the same way.
