i don't remember the name/brand but we had some old computer that you had to load everything off 5.25 floppys. i used to play this winnie the pooh game where everyone lost their stuff... everytime you changed locations it had to re-draw the screen in like 8 colors. we also had all the original kings quest games.then we had a laptop-like word processor, with a little fold up screen about 6 inches, black and white.first real PC we had was 50 MHz 486, 4 MB RAM, 250 MB hard drive. we later doubled the RAM and added a 1 gig HD.

our first PC was a NEC laptop that had a battery the size of two fists end to end. LCD screen that was light black and white, but it did have a industry leading 2 3.5 in drives!

Commodore 64. I remember my second computer (Packard Bell) had a turbo button on it so you could bump the speed back down to 25MHz if 33MHz was too fast for you Then again in those days the games were poorly coded and timed with loops so if your computer was too fast it would come out of the loops too soon and the game would run much faster than designed.

IBM PCjr No mouse, it had the big disks, and you needed to have a cartridge (or disk, I can't remember) to start it up each time.My dad worked in computers, so we got things early, but then we kept them for a long time. We had a videocamera very early (before the little camcorders came out) It took a normal size VHS and you had to carry half the VCR with it
