I had been there for warmups every game this year...I was disappointed that I couldn't get a few people to leave until about 6:40 and I knew we'd be late and I gave them shit about it when we got there 7 minutes in. There's not any excuse, people can get there on time

i would blame some of this on the online system. there were several rows that did not appear to have even been given out. there was an entire row in section 105 (row B) that wasn't filled. (i moved there). this is HALF COURT, SECOND ROW, and nobody there. and i find it really hard to believe that an entire row just happened to all show up way late.

Most STATE kids would die at places like Florida where if you don't get to the game and present your ticket (like you want to be there) they will take your name out of the lottery....Keeps a football stadium of 90k PACKED OUT

^ At UF, the students have to pay a set amount before the season for FB tickets and then get their tickets through the mail. It is only like $50 (or atleast it was back in like 2000 when my buddy was going there). That is a great system because it keeps people who don't really care about the teams away from the stadium.

I had class till 6:35 ass-whore. Although some students didnt even stand up during the game, let alone "oooooooooohhh" when on defense.

the RBC Center staff has always been nice to me. they've always been very jovial to me, even when they tell me i have to go around to the next arena bowl entrance to get to my section. i think there should be one more entrance. i do agree if you can get there early then please do. i'm sure the players like it when the arena looks full for the player introductions and tip. the main problem i have is when the game is on a weekend and some of the students don't show up until half way to three fourths of the way into the first half. a few girls came in during the Wake game after 12 minutes had passed in the first half.

forget listening to the people who pay (or families pay) tens of thousands of dollars of tuition...we're too busy kissing the asses of donors who show up late for the game and leave early whether its a win or a loss....did anyone see the georgia tech game pretty much all the paid seats emptied out with 2 minutes left while the students were still there

some people also just aren't into being loud and obnoxious at games...i personally will support the team and cheer for em but i'm not one of those people that's gonna go nuts screaming and yelling just for the hell of it. That doesn't make me any less of a fan. I understand the game, i know what's going on, and i'm there supporting them. To each his own...don't necessarily think you have more a right to someones seat than them just cause you're gonna scream the whole game.

The only reason they ought to show us more respect is because the students ARE the crowd. Our atmosphere is better than UNC's because of the setup. If they want us to come and be loud and not pissed off, then cut us a little slack. Come up with a decent system, and get the people that WANT to be there to actually come. I know tons of people that keep getting fucked by the system that have pretty much stopped trying to get tickets, while we have dumbasses that dont know a god damn thing about sports/basketball/football sitting on the sidelines talking on their cell phones. The way it is right now, the administration is turning people off from comming to sporting events. With our teams as bad as they have been, you have to make the students WANT to come. They are the alumni that will be donating in the future, and the students make the atmosphere. Games were much more fun last year and the year before when we sucked but there weren't problems with ticketing and shit. Thats just my 2 cents. It just seems like everyone is frustrated now and its really not the students fault.

i had a class get out at 545, busted my ass, and barely made it for tip off. Hey, who would have thought that some of the STUDENTS actually have a CLASS? It was a weeknight, keep that in perspective.
