That is pretty easy to say when there are 300+ teams in college. Pretty much any top 25 to 35 school's 6th man could be "starting for most teams".

^ If they are the 2nd best team in SEC, then they'd better be a top 25 to 35 team. They are not a dynasty though. My bad on the 3 pages thing.

I really wish coming to NC would have gotten me away from UT hype, but with Pearl they will keep doing some good things this year. I don't care if the SEC is down this year, it's still a tough conference to win consistently and to win on the road.

Haven't been all that impressed with UK the last few years...still remains to be seen if Tubby can go all the way again.

Granted they haven't won it in this decade but Kentucky is still one of only two teams to have TWO National Championships in the last 10 years. Something Duke and UNC can't say..

They are definitely a 'perennial contender' if you will..

yea, and probably the best team in NCAA history overall. UCLA was badass for about 15 years but has only been so so for a long long time, Carolina has had a lot of down years mixed in over the last 20 years.. duke is too much of a new comer relatively speaking

They probably would have won 36 games total. I mean Clemson and FSU would be champions of all the other 5 major conferences year in and year out if they didn't play in the ACC..

you cant do what if shit like that... no one has any clue... I mean, if you just magically picked up Kentucky and dropped them in the ACC from the beginning and let Carolina, State, Duke etc all keep all their players then yes, their numbers would be lower... but if Kentucky was actually there the whole time then maybe Carolina, State, Duke, Wake etc never would have developed into what they have become. The SEC might be below the ACC in bball because of Kentucky dominating for 90 years

I hardly ever bring them up first for what it's worth. It's always someone who attempts a weak ass troll (^ kind like him with UT) because they can't come up with anything else to back up their point with...

Although I will mention how Duke can't beat them just because I hate Duke fans (with some exceptions of course)..

V can someone make an Official UConn Sucks thread? Seriously, troll the shit out of me in there so it doesn't clutter up the board..

^^ I can't remember honestly. Those 5 straight wins and 2 National Championships going through Duke have somehow clouded my mind..

V seriously though. I broke a table in my parents house after that shot (the '90 one against UConn obviously) when I was 8 years old..

UConn and Duke have played eight times since 1964, splitting the series.

In the NCAA Tournament, Coach K and Calhoun have split four games in the past 15 years.

Sounds kinda even.

UConn has won the last 4 I believe (I thought it was 5 honestly but I may be thinking about UNC in one of those games -- in fact I think I am.. the 30 point blowout game). If you can find the dates/games that would be cool but I gotta run for a meeting..

1999, 2000, and 2004 I KNOW are the last 3 and they won all of those.. Once again though, why do you bring them up in nearly every thread I post in?

^ the 2 tourney losses were before UConn had even established themselves as a good program too..

Hey, not taking anything away from them... and you may be right. I'm not saying they wouldn't still be a dynasty in the ACC, but they do kind of pad thier schedule with SEC teams all year as compared to playing Duke, UNC, Wake, Maryland, NC State, GT,etc.

I'm not meaning to take anything away from them at all.

Next game is at LSU. That will be a True test of how good the Vols are. Florida and Memphis are probably a little too good to really gauge the team (unless they win those games).
