Is there a way I can change the name of my Ipod? I had a corrupt file and it erased half of my name that shows up when I dock my Ipod

i know for a fact that if you completely restore it (erase everything through the ipod updater program) it will let you. you might be able to click the name in itunes when the ipod is docked and change it that way.

Rockbox is coming to Ipod.

^^^ Turn on disk mode, navigate to iPod in the Finder, change the name, the end.


edit - nevermind.... seemed to just change the displayed name. It changed the name in the iPod "About" menu and when it appears in Finder, but it left the old name when it showed up in iTunes.
