I think it will suck when he starts to get senile and you are just in your middle ages. I think you may end up wishing that you started a family of your own, and not just inherited one.

Well, I've already been in the position once to start a family of my own, and that didn't exactly work out...so I mean, I don't know what I want to do as far as having children, etc.

my only comment is to be fair to the kids. if you see the relationship progressing, by all means, hang with them, be their friend. but if you have any notion of splitting, start to detach yourself now from them. it will make it easier for them later on. it sucks for kids when their parents gf/bf hop. once they get attached, its bye bye and onto the next one.

This is bad news. You should break up with him and slowly distance yourself from his kids.

You should be dating someone who is without child baggage.
