no, no AIM yet...I don't know if the browser can access the site and make it work...on 2.0 the browser pretty much runs out of memory on any good site I've been to (please sony, make it so that we can use virtual memory on our duo pros!!!)

as far as eboot and whatnot, you need to know what version of the firmware your PSP has...I'm guessing that you most likely have 2.5 or 2.6 if it was bought recently...some of the first giga packs had 2.0 (like mine)...as far as I know, there aren't any stable hacks/homebrew for anything over 2.0 - fanjita (the eboot hacker) is working on a 2.5 exploit right now, but nothing is out yet.

If you got lucky and have a 2.0 firmware, you can get eboot programs from http://www.psp-hacks.com it took me a little while to figure it out, but it's actually pretty easy once you cut through the weeds of retarded forum posts by little kids

and im still a little intimidated by downgrading the firmware...all i would like to do is get some emulators for it

it's real easy

you can only downgrade firmware up to 2.0

emulators work on all firmware up to 2.0

thus if all you want are emulators and you have 2.0 or less, you are fine

if you have over 2.0, you can't downgrade and thus can't do anything anyway
