do you have a 5 speed with 3.07 gearing ? if so don't do it you will hate your jeep on highwaysunless you really need tires save your money buy a propper lift, and gearing and any drive train mods needed (sye etc.) all @ once then get your tires.
12/7/2005 3:52:51 PM

12/7/2005 4:01:14 PM

12/7/2005 9:51:34 PM
google says the 97s had 3.55s and 98 on had 3.73 ex rubicon.
12/7/2005 10:46:49 PM
the "X" editions did have 3.07s3.55s were generally with autos
12/7/2005 11:03:46 PM
interesting. all X's? cuz i've done work on an X that definitely had 3.54's... i thought it was 6 cylinders 3.54's and 4 cylinder 4.10's... or maybe that's yj's...
12/7/2005 11:13:50 PM
i dunno, my buddy had an x and it def. had 3.07s
12/7/2005 11:14:40 PM
I dunno how many years this goes back, but if you look at the jeep website it lists:3.07 is standard with 3.73 being the option.....but thats with the 6spd tranny...3.73 is standard with the auto
12/8/2005 6:25:28 AM
yeah ivan you are thinking of yj's
12/8/2005 8:24:51 AM
The 3.07's are offered as "Gas Savers" or something like that... then there's the 3.73 option for the 6 cylinders. The 4.10s come in the 4 cylinders no matter what.
12/8/2005 1:14:53 PM
4.56s were also an option for the 4 cyls.
12/8/2005 1:23:03 PM
that's gay. i thought smog gears went out in the 80's.
