I think we will be in the old tire bowl. They love to have a NC team go. The other option is Clemson and we travel alot better than they do. So my prediction will be tire.

We did travel better than Clemson to the Tangerine Bowl, albeit marginally better. Might be a good comparison for another so-so bowl game.

the champs sports bowl is supposed to pick between clemson and B.C., the bowl reportedly wants clemson, which means that we should go to the cr care bowl, but the acc wants the champs bowl to pick boston college, which means the car care would pick clemson and we go to boise

I wouldn't mind playing Minnesota in the Music City Bowl... I went to the Micron PC bowl a few years ago when we played Minnesota in Florida and Rivers came back to whoop them in the second half... No one was really there though...

Fowler, Ramsey, Cavalli and Will Webb, executive director of the Meineke Car Care Bowl, all said they did not expect State's bowl destination to be settled before the league title game between Virginia Tech and Florida State in Jacksonville, Fla., helps settle the pecking order. Saturday's winner gets a Bowl Championship Series bid. The Gator Bowl gets the first pick among the seven other teams eligible for bowl play. The Gator Bowl is unlikely to select the loser of the ACC title game for a return trip to Jacksonville, Fla. The Gator and the Peach Bowl in Atlanta get to select the teams they want, and then the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, the Meineke Car Care Bowl and the MPC Computers Bowl work out their teams with the conference. I would so much rather play a Big 10 team than USF. I also really want to avoid Boise and Emerald at all costs.

What makes you say that...almost everything I read sounds like Charlotte is the most likely. The only thing I hear different is in Boston papers that say Swafford is trying to puch BC to the Peach and push us down to Boise.

Nashville over Boise anyday. Even if it is unlikely, I would prefer the Music City to the MPC Computer Bowl. Never been to Boise and never intend to. Since I was born and raised in the Nashville area. I would love to go home to see the Pack at the Coliseum. I wouldn't mind showing some of ya around my hometown. But I want a Pack bowl win more than I want to go home, so if that means going to the MPC Computer Bowl or whereever, so be it.

Why is Swofford pushing any particular team to any bowl? Outside of pushing the Music City Bowl to pick an ACC team over a team from some other conference, he shouldnt be pushing anyone and shouldnt care where each team goes if hes to be an unbiased commissioner.
