By the way the doggie friendly bar is the Office Tavern. So if you get off work & want to be with your dog but still relax/hangout come have a few beers with us. We have tennis balls & treats for them! 710 W. Johnson St.

Dogs in a bar sounds like a recipe for health violations...or animal cruelty

No we do not serve any food so no health code violations. Everyone there is an animal lover. People just stop by for a few beers & then take their babies home! Great idea if you ask me.

My dog comes to work with me everyday. I work at a corn research station that's gated and fenced, so it's the perfect setup. If only I get as excited about coming to work as the dog does.

that rocks... a dog friendly bar. just out of curiosity, where is that?as for saying that dogs don't go out and do stuff... unfortunately that is the case, but it has been proven that they live longer happier lifes if they do. Dogs, like people, do better when they feel needed like doing a job or something. It is obviously the norm for dogs to be expected to be left home and sleep all day, it isn't necessarily healthy.check out animal planet some time.as for the people that have given me suggestions, thank you very much, I will be looking into them!
