I'll be sure to shoot some flames and backfire the dsm in the coming weeks when it's back on campus[Edited on November 3, 2005 at 2:57 AM. Reason : my bike is too quiet ]
11/3/2005 2:57:19 AM
The DSM on campus? I'll believe it when I see it.

i wanna ride is smoothcrim's car
11/3/2005 12:01:36 PM
I've got a header and a Greddy full cat-back on my spec v, and i have complete control over how loud i want it to be. If im just idiling or riding with my rents or a girl its quite, but when u walk as slow as possible in front of me at the crosswalk, im gonna give u a lil rev to hurry u the fuck up. In my defense, i get compliments on my exhasut all of the time. Its not raspy, and everyone thinks i have a v-6 or somehting
11/3/2005 1:42:18 PM
omfg v-6
11/3/2005 1:56:57 PM
^^ is that the one i see parked in the west lot all the time
11/3/2005 6:20:16 PM
yea, and now its got a broken windshield, did u see that too. about the v-6, i just think its funny that everyone says i have a bigger engine than i actually do. i know my I4 still isnt something to brag about.

11/4/2005 5:11:11 PM
you're probably a fag, too
11/4/2005 5:11:37 PM
ok, first of all, i have to take 2 viewpoints on the matter. and just to try to be technical, i'm not going to talk shit about the transvestite that wrote the article in the first place. loud exhausts are not made to be loud. that is not one of the specifications that the manufacturer tries to improve. indeed, exhausts are tested and specified by the decibals of the output. but, there is not a single exhaust out in the market that did not pass EPA noise emission specifications. unless it's custom made or gutted. now, my point being, if there is a vehicle with a loud ass exhaust, it's probably loud for a reason, which is, the person with the exhaust is most likely using it to increase the flow out of the engine, but not before increasing the flow to the engine. what that means is most people know that if you mount a high flow exhaust on your system, it will actually take away your low end and kill your performance. you have to do intake mod's before you mount a high flow exhaust. and for all those people who have a ford focus with a straight pipe on them and nothing but a oil-clogged air filter under your hood, i do have a saw zaw and i'm gonna go on a rampage here some time soon. speaking about myself, i am one of those bikes that have a loud ass exhaust and yes, i do go through campus in the first gear. simply being, if i shift into second, i would have to keep my R's at around 5 K which would probably be around 60 mph. do you want me flying 60 on cates? dont think so. and, i dont have a stupid ass exhaust for no reason. i have a carbon fiber DEVIL high flow exhaust, that goes along nicely with my HIGH FLOW K&N and a power commader. and this one little transvestite who's afraid of the sound of pure power, well i'm sorry, if you have a problem, come talk to me face to face and MAKE ME take my shit off. and oh yea, my pipe is still baffled and it doens't make half as much what you call "noise" as it could.[Edited on November 4, 2005 at 5:26 PM. Reason : cant type]
11/4/2005 5:25:33 PM
^ agree, but the guy with the Green Ninja that has the short little handmade black exhasust is ridicoulsy loud. Props to the guy for making it himself, and it doesnt bother me, i think it sounds good, but that mother is prob the loudest bike ive heard.
11/4/2005 5:40:57 PM
i've been telling him to take that thing off for quite some time, and he actually has a muzzy he can throw on there, which he actually did about 2 weeks ago, but after reading this article he says he'll throw the straightpipe back on. i do agree though, it is too damn loud. mine ranks at 104 db, and his is prolly in 120's
11/4/2005 5:42:53 PM
Green ninja will be back in action this weekend to cause some havok
11/4/2005 5:47:38 PM
Seriously that think idling is as loud as most bikes when there are ripping threw the gears. I couldnt handle it if i were him. It would get annoying, i know my buddies sube made my ears ring for days when i drove it like 8 hours. With mufflers its all about how they are set up, my greddy has no restrictions, and it straight through, but u cant tell usless i want u too. Its great on the interstate, 3,000RPM is still quite
11/4/2005 5:49:02 PM
well i'm not the biggest fan of his exhaust just because when i ride with him, i simply can't hear my own until i R about 11K. his is lound in the range of 3-8 K and mine "beats" his starting 10 K all the way to 17K
11/4/2005 5:51:48 PM
TURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRBO
11/4/2005 5:52:21 PM
not to mention he's losing all of his low end power since that straight pipe is the only mod on that bike
11/4/2005 5:52:22 PM
^ right, what kind of bike do u have? I was going to get a new GSX-R 600 last year, but i kept my car instead. New summer ill prod sell my car, and get a bike and a silverado or my dads envoy or atleast thats the plan.
11/4/2005 6:00:12 PM
03 gsx-r 600
11/4/2005 6:00:33 PM
its currently a streetfighter.
11/4/2005 6:11:22 PM
yea i was looking at a 2004 with 117 miles on it, for $6500 out the door, the guy was selling cuz his wife threaded to divore him, should have bought it
11/4/2005 6:14:15 PM
very good deal. any damage?
11/4/2005 6:15:51 PM
^shit, i bet you could have bought it for cheaper then that if he was threaten by the ole wife. Buy it for 6g and you could resell it.. but why do that? 04 gixxers are nice
11/4/2005 6:16:15 PM
yea i know, it was about a year and a half a go, so it was an awesome deal....my mom makes me feel so bad everytime i bring it up, she askes me how my friends parents feel about it, he died when he went threw a red light goin 120 getting of the interstate. If i say motorcyle, she cries the entire day...
11/4/2005 6:21:15 PM
parents are always like that. just ride smart and you'll be fine.
11/4/2005 6:28:18 PM
yeah, thats why you need to save up money and get one yourself. This is what vlad's bike almost looks like, cept its not a 750, or yellow.
11/4/2005 6:35:14 PM
Buying the bike isnt the prob, ive already got the money for that. But if i get the bike i wont be getting the $20,000+ a year for tuition, etc. plus my parents are about to buy me a house ~$160,000 so i dont really want to piss them off...
11/4/2005 11:32:38 PM
I would say count your blessings and fuck the bike.
11/5/2005 12:31:43 AM
^exactly, im finally realizing how lucky i am
11/5/2005 2:08:42 AM
u lukcy bastard
11/5/2005 2:39:48 AM
you could be like ^ and get yourself a p.o. box and let the insurance have the po box number as your address and get a storage place.
11/5/2005 2:51:13 PM
That's only in the morning. You should be up cooking breakfast. It's like an alarm clock.
11/5/2005 3:57:44 PM
^ Haha, gg
11/5/2005 4:53:57 PM
u mean i had a p.o. box for my insurance. bought the bike and had all the info. sent to that.. then i had a storage garage at colonial storage off beryl street to keep the bike. i was probably the most fun i've had.. not owning the bike just the fact that i was hiding it from the rents
11/5/2005 5:05:53 PM
I think ive found incentive to get rid of the cat....it scrapes too much anyways.
