if he got hurt and that's why he didn't come back in then he really didn't do us any good since he couldn't finish what he started

did stone throw 2 TD passes? yeah, but he should have had 3

i can handle jay being mediocre

but there's a higher standard for stone...he has to be better than mediocre, stay healthy, and get us the win

if he can't do all of those things, then there's really no point in playing him rather than davis b/c the final end result is the same

the worst thing that could happen happened in the WF game...stone gave us hope and failed to deliver

and even though it is an important position everyone this year agreed the qb just had to not lose the game for us while our d and "14 top 3 in the nation, 5star, A++ recruited running backs" did the work. well our line sucks so we have no running game, and our d has been less then impressive, especially compared to expectations. so what does it matter? the season is a wash. so who gives a shit who plays, and on top of it don't argue about it on this board like it matters which one plays.

o-line sucks, therefore rushing and passing suck

passing is mediocre when there is time to throw, couple that with slow, and at times incompetent receivers, and passing sucks even more

horizontal sideline passes don't work, but we continue to throw them

vertical draws don't work 90% of the time, but we continue to run them

our offense is slow and predictable and does not fool anybody from the moment we step to the line to snap the ball (i was surprised during the wake game to see wake call audibles b/c after watching us i assumed they were almost out of time every time they did that, but in reality they always had 15 seconds to go on the play clock)

neither QB is productive

Jay is mediocre

Stone is slighty better athletically and is able to make plays, yet cannot continue to play through the entire game

if he could do that, then i'd probably say "ok, let stone be the QB"

but he's not, we're still losing, so what does it matter?

i was there. game was horrible. we fill up two thirds of WF's stadium to get the crap beat out of us.

stone was better, no question. numbers will tell you that. one reason he's hurt to begin with is no PT. you can't sit on the bench all season and then know how to take care of yourself on the field.

chuck, is stupid. lack of use of tremain hall... which i'll never understand. baker gets taken out every other play, even after he breaks out with a 25 yarder. we can't score in two downs with 6 yards because we don't even try a running play with baker. the line couldnt hold for crap, and nobody keyed on barclay, who should have gone out of the game in the first quarter on a stretcher, instead he just ran all over us. every. play.

and southpaw is right, the "we're close" crap... no way. i'm sorry but wake isn't that good. unc is not that good. i love this school and our teams, but it's getting hard to be a fan this year. but i'll be at the games anyway...
