[2]I'm not in any hurry, but I'd like a rough estimate on 1 drive shaft and the other front wheel bearing on a '96 Nissan Altima 5 speed. I already have the remaned driveshaft.[Edited on October 26, 2005 at 3:53 AM. Reason : 2-]

bttt again for a quickly executed and well priced bushing installation

One step closer to being able to do the doorhandle. Fucking paint is going to probably run $75-80 (called the carquest paint shop in N. Raleigh). Pearl tricoat is a bitch sometimes...but I'm probably going to have those guys mix it up on Saturday.

bttt.I have a lot of the Sherwin-Williams paint stuff (hardener, clear, BC stabilizer, reducers), but I don't trust myself shooting a three-stage. Basecoat, pearl, clear. And believe me, it is a genuine bitch to get it to match.

hey i have a buddy w/ a 94 lexus ls400. he needs a front right wheel bearing done. pm me a price on it if you can. thanks!

Yeah, that's a fun one to do...PM sent.
1/4/2006 11:17:14 PM
so... how about you and my mr2's tvis valve get together for a rematch?
1/16/2006 3:20:14 PM
Not a problem...do you want to replace the T-VIS valve, or do you want me to remove it and try and get it to stop sucking air around the shaft? I am thinking that's where your noise issues were coming from...high vacuum at idle, especially at the closed butterflies.Seriously, though, I'll be glad to work on it...but from what you've said earlier, you might want to pay more attention to your clutch.
1/16/2006 3:38:12 PM
yeah clutch is #1 on my list.. i'm finding a replacement right nowthe tvis bit, i should have a new actuator by the end of this month (if not sooner)after these two parts, i'm fixing the goddamn suspension

For standard struts, my charge is usually 30 bux a strut, unless there are issues with plumbing in air lines or plugging in actuators or sensors. Then it may be more. But yeah, I'll do struts all day long.

Feel like change my fuel filter on a 87 mr-2? I've had the part forever, just never got around to it.I can leave it with you if that makes it easier some day.[Edited on January 17, 2006 at 1:50 PM. Reason : .]
