yeah, Stewart and Spiner are the obvious ones (if you need any other proof, go look at their imdb.com filmographies compared to the other cast members)...i'd add Marc Alaimo (Dukat) and Rene Auberjonois (Odo) to the list...and maybe Andrew Robinson (Garak)...

Avery Brooks tended to over act.YOU CAN"T DESTROY TEH IDEAAAAAATHAT"S ANCIENT KNOWLADGE

Better yet, who have actually had careers besides Trek? Reading Rainbow doesn't count.Shatner and Stewart (Nimoy too for Documentaries).
9/20/2005 4:08:16 PM
More than half of the TNG crew do a lot of voices for a lot of different stuff.Avery Brooks was in a couple of flics (including the bad-assed American History X).Armin Shimmermin and Rene Aberdlvfrechword do stuff here and there.Oh, Marina Sirtis had a small part in Crash.Other than that, you can find most of the people from TNG, DS9, and Voyager in guest staring roles in TV shows all over the place.[Edited on September 20, 2005 at 4:12 PM. Reason : Reading Rainbow completely counts]

^ Who was she in Crash?

The Persian guy's wife.

ohhhhhhhhh yeahhhhhh......

pryderi: yes, Andreas Katsulas and Peter Jurasik > 98% of Star Trek cast membersas for other careers... i already mention that Barclay was on A-Team... Rene Auberjonis is all over the place, Jonathan Frakes has his own little club where every show he works on somehow gets Michael Dorn and Marina Sirtis involved... and occasionally Levar Burton...Patrick Stewart is obvious... Brent Spiner is obvious...go look at the filmographies of some of these actors... they can be pretty impressive...[Edited on September 20, 2005 at 6:32 PM. Reason : .]

Also Gargoyles came out towards the end of TNG so they were in hot demand. And Gargolyes wasn't a bad cartoon at all.

I loved gargoyles

colm meaney...last thing i saw him in was....that convict air plane movie...air con?

I had a crush on Riker, then on Worf, and one on Deanna Troy at some point... as far as good acting goes, Brent Spiner, Patrick Stewart, or Captain Janeway

not one vote for any voyager characters ehthe doctor guy from mash was good but I never really watched that show for the charactersthe only thing I thought it owned TNG in was episode concepts; I mean they had some really creative stuffcourse:oblivion and that episode where that living war memorial reenacts the war in other people's minds are great examples

the guy who played holographic doctor is pretty good...not great though, not one of the best... but pretty good
