You can actually target more than one enemy at a time with the cmp. I'm not sure how many total but I quess it limits to four. I know this because a lot of times i've purposely targeted multiple targets in multiplayer. When your in a small confined arena like the facility and you got your targets swarming around you, you will actually go dual fire. This means one gun will track one player and the other gun will track a different player all at the same time. Sorta like a chameleon lizard can rotate his eyes in different directions at the same time. It easy to get double kills like this and it looks so bad ass to run down a hallway with double cmp pointing left and right, or chriss crossed blazing at your targets.
