I never thought I'd hear the term "reach-around" on primetime television.[Edited on September 19, 2005 at 11:10 PM. Reason : page 2]

The Sunday night episode was classic. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. The drinking game on the ship was the best part. I also liked when they were on the raft made from inflatable dolls, and Quagmire says "Be careful...the slightest prick will pop them....giggity..."

midgets are God's little punchlines
9/20/2005 10:25:53 AM
it was indeed a good epi hope family guy lasts for another 15 seasons
9/20/2005 12:19:03 PM
Yeah, The Simpsons too.

So I only caught the part of last nights where they got on the plane and went to South America. Seemed pretty funny, hate I missed the first part. The very end where Meg is left was by far the funniest. And surprisingly to me, American Dad was pretty good last night. I haven't watched a full episode in a long time and there were some jokes on par with Family Guy.
9/26/2005 9:24:56 AM
Yeah, American Dad's definitely getting better.Family Guy was good but it seems like they put Meg down constantly these days.
9/26/2005 9:44:06 AM
monkey was sad

i haven't seen last night's episode yet (have to rely on BT here in germany), but some common threads that are emerging are that 1) yes, Meg has just turned into a punching bag for the whole family and 2) Louis has been the central character (or at least more prominent) for several episodes, with her becoming a model, doing drugs, getting married to brian.... eh, i dunno - obviously Meg and Louis are the 2 most uninteresting and unfunny main characters, but as long as Stewie and Brian continue with their "outrageous antics" i'll be happy

Yeah Lois definitely has her moments. I do think, though, that the conclusion of the episode where Lois married Brian means that the show's going to have to drop the whole "Brian loves Lois" angle.I will also agree that the writers have been ripping pretty hard into Meg as of late. Perhaps they don't know what else to do with her besides the whole teenage melo-dramatic angst thing. Finally, I can care less what Family Guy does, just as long as Brian and Stewie keep doing their thing.
9/26/2005 11:54:23 AM
last nights was pretty funnythe deadwood joke had me rollingand when Stewie saw bewitched was hilariousAmerican Dad was funny, the cyber terrorist reminded me of salisburyboy
9/26/2005 12:06:13 PM
Yeah I thought the whole Bewitched scene was one of the best written ones I've ever seen on the show. Proof that you don't need dialogue for funny scenes.
9/26/2005 12:09:27 PM
one of my favorite parts last night was when Chris was getting paddled and they did the entire scene from Dazed and Confused. Brilliant.

^^That was great hahaThat part with the cow was just... umm weird.
9/26/2005 1:31:41 PM
^^did you watch the episode?
9/26/2005 1:50:09 PM
I thought that Bewitched scene was pointless and self-indulgent.
9/26/2005 1:51:23 PM
^^ missed the first few minutes, i assume thats when it was
9/26/2005 1:57:19 PM
is there something wrong with torrentspy? When i try to d/l the torrent using Safari i get a "cannot create file" error, then it crashes firefox when I try.
9/26/2005 2:21:59 PM
i found the entire episode to be shallow and pedantic
9/26/2005 2:57:35 PM
The Bewitched reference was just completely stupid. The asides in Family Guy used to flow so well with the episodes, but now they just competely jump train.Bah, the show still isn't so bad, but they have started to resort to gag episodes (ie Lois and Brian, Meg is hot, etc). And dammit, Stewie is no longer a smart evil baby. He is now an intelligent person trapped in a baby's body. His jokes are stale.
9/26/2005 4:13:42 PM
good pointhe hasn't tried to take over the world latelygo watch the first 4 or 5 episodes againwhen he talks to the sesame street phone, thats the best
9/26/2005 4:14:38 PM
Magic mirror, how can i look like a douche bag today?
9/26/2005 4:20:38 PM
^^^^I just finished d/ling from torrentspy.Stewie's "take over the world and kill Lois" schtick was pretty weak anyway. The character really hit his stride when he started having it out with Brian, blatantly insulting the other characters, and exhibiting hints of homosexuality.
9/26/2005 4:21:37 PM
hah, the magic mirror bit with federline was one of my favorites
9/26/2005 4:24:59 PM
I wish Will Ferrel had played himself. They're pretty good about people voice acting themselves
9/26/2005 4:54:22 PM
They have Meg so the family can pick on her and diss her all the time. That shit is hilarious.I liked the bewitched/will farrell scene, even though it was predictable. That dude does need a punch in the face because he isn't funny at all.
9/26/2005 10:41:05 PM
I've got to say, I love the continuous references to Indiana Jones. Can't wait to see what they do for Last Crusade.

That was an unfunny chick flick, but will is damned hilarious the other 99% of the time.
9/27/2005 1:51:55 AM
i cant believe you fucking assholes are sitting around analyzing a funny cartoon
9/27/2005 2:13:34 AM
agreed.... just enjoy it....
9/27/2005 7:38:58 AM
I find the cameos and references as entertaining as the humor. If that means I am someone who analyzes things rather than morbidly slothing through life with a blank expression, so be it.

oh yea, MacGuyver? Well I find your meatloaf rather shallow and pedantic.
9/27/2005 7:59:13 PM
I find your spelling to be somewhat lacking. God man, its not like my name is that hard to spell
9/27/2005 10:30:04 PM
oops about the spelling, but still,
9/27/2005 10:58:12 PM
wtf does that even mean?
9/27/2005 11:18:10 PM
it means the joke flew over your head and made a "whoosh" sound.while I think the verbing of that word is a little shallow and pedantic, I agree with the sentiment.from the episode where peter wins the game of Trivial Pursuithttp://www.brokenbinder.com/fg/petarded.htm
