gamecube wasnt really for value until it hit 99. there was absolutely 0 reason not to buy it at that point. i dont see anything all that revolutionary about cube controllers either. comfy but button placement is still gay if ur not playing mario party.

seperated d-pad: no thnxtwist wrist to get to both sticks: no thnx, ive really always hated dual shock dual triggers: good idea, but i dont like them so much when you are in a game that requires you use all 4button placement/feel: cant complaingive me 64, then xbox any day (gc for comfort but not functionality)

Dammit how long do I have to wait? I will prolly end up buying an Xbox 360 just to have something new if they ever have any around here.

^^ everything I heard pointed to syncronized global release (a first for sony I think maybe?), but then again g4 tv is fucking stupid.I'm definately getting it for the blue-ray dvd technology, as long as HDDVD doesn't make some stupendous comeback in terms of corperate backing. What about the Revolution release date? I'm sure it will be scheduled for release around the same time (if not earlier then) as the PS3.[Edited on November 29, 2005 at 2:52 PM. Reason : ]

supposedly PS3 will be making a splash at the 2005 CES in January. Hopefully they'll have some playable games or at the very least finalized hardware/specs.
