1st round
people request tickets

2nd round
tickets that went unclaimed or canceled went automatically to those who lost in round 1

on-demand
tickets avaiable to anyone who didn't win or hasn't even requested tickets yet

therefore, it shows there was a decent demand for this game (which honestly, despite knowing demand would be high, surprises me because I thought no one would know about the system

so the only thing to do now is to look for people that have an extra or wait for people to cancel?

what are the usher's at the seats gonna do? are they checking tickets and id's? if we show up with someone else's ticket and the ID doesn't match, will they let us in? just wondering if they changed the whole system there as well

nobody answered my question about how gay and strict the people are going to be about our student ids. mine is cracked and my head is shaved in that pic from freshman year...now im a senior. If its the normal people at the gates they wont hassle right?

If I cancel a ticket, does it show up at that exact time in the on-demand system? Also, I am assuming there is no way to transfer tickets. Because of my schedule, I sometimes don't know until right before a game if I will be able to attend. It would be nice to have a way to transfer my ticket to another student, who has not gotten one. This way, if for some reason the transferred ticket wasn't scanned, I would not be penalized.

yeah, there's no way to transfer that late, because it's not fair to other students and it's not fair to us to have such short notice

and the IDs will be just fine

question, if someone gave you a ticket, and it obviously says their name on it, but you are showing your id at the game, is that going to be a problem???

i'm sure he or "his friend" is not actually taking classes

they just dont want to get busted for using an old ID for a current student ticket

thats why you make sure to get a new id the day before you graduate

my id will be valid for 3 more yrs after i graduate

Hey, if you request a guest ticket and then win, can you claim just your ticket and not the guest ticket? And does the guest have to go in with the person that got the guest ticket.

I didn't get an email, and assume members of my group did not as well. Do you have to request email notification for every event?

From the other thread:

Quote :
"Why is it that I can only see how many people are in my group as opposed who is actually in it?

I just signed up for my ticket, but somehow there were already 14 people in my block and I don't think 14 of my friends actually got to the site before me.

Anyone else seeing anything like this?"

Mine doesn't. And I know several others have requested tickets under his name. All mine says is:

Tickets in Your NC State Student Account
Sat, Sep 17 at 7pm - Eastern Kentucky at NC State
Ticket Requested on 9/10/2005 1:29:48 AM
You requested to seat with Group Leader Unity ID xxxxxxxxxx

Oh, well I'm a group leader.

So that's probably why I can see how many people have signed up.

mine says

Quote :
"Sat, Sep 17 at 7pm - Eastern Kentucky at NC State
Ticket Requested on 9/10/2005 12:52:17 AM
You are currently the Group Leader
and have 24 members in your Group."

but for some reason i don't think that many people in my group have requested tickets yet. It said 20 last night right after I requested a ticket. I would say it is more likely that it is adding the tickets from the VT game to the total. So its saying i have 24 instead of like 6

Hey, how does the guest tickets work for this game? This may have already been answered but, if we request a ticket, does that mean we have to purchase them? I have a couple people who are wondering because I've been telling them to request them just in case other people might want to get the guest tickets if they don't win the lottery. What's the deal?

Also, I registered as a group leader (I checked the consent to be a small group leader) but I am unable to see how many people who have registered with my unity under "Student Information", does it take a day to update?

Same here it says there are 42 in my group and I really can't think of half of them but????? I also got an email saying that my odds of winning depend upon the group leader selection. I assume that this means it is dependant upon the attence recond of the group leader??

^^^^^should look under "your tickets", not "student information"

and I asked the company to figure out what's going on, but no one has responded yet

^and yes

and for those w/ guest ticket questions...you don't have to pay for them if you win, but you're really fucking w/ everyone's odds by just requesting them "just in case"

Just wondering what happens when you get to 100 people in your group? Will it not let anyone else in? Can it hurt your chances at all?

did you remember to place your UnityID under the group leader's space when requesting tickets? if not, the group is never actually formed

is their any penalty if your guest does not claim ticket, or is it the same policy as your ticket?

you claim your guest's ticket...I'm not sure I got your question

they do have to go in and have it scanned, but to be honest I can't imagine why we'd penalize you if your guest (who paid for their ticket) doesn't show...the scan is just to validate the ticket, since it is a print-at-home thing
