That's the link to my boyfriend's boat dealership...well...his family's, anyway, but he runs it. And luckily, he's taking me with him.

Gradys are the gold standard for small outboard boats. They are rock solid and they hold their value like nothing else. I know guys who still run their 20 year old rigs.

Bayliner had some major quality issues back in the day, but I'm told they are rectified. Wait 'til winter to buy a boat.

Hellz fuckin' yeah!!! That's what it looked like when me and Dad got into some dolphin the other day. he started to clean it up I yelled "Fuck the blood, we'll clean it later! LET'S CATCH SOME FISH!"

I just hate the Whalers euro transoms, its cuts off so much fishing room, thats why I love bracketed motors.

The Foutains do get pretty bad, any Carolina Classic, Reguator or Albemarle will be a smooth ride no matter because of their deep V but they rock and are fucking wet.

Count me in. And I'm pretty sure I can get my folk's marina to throw some sponsor $$$ our way.

Speaking of those classic Carolina hulled smaller rigs, my buddy in Nags Head builds some nice ones. I already asked if I could 'test drive' one for the tourney this weekend. lollll At $150K a pop, I don't think he's down with that. lol

And for the record, I'd take a Grady White over a Boston Whaler any day of the week.

I am hoping to finish my work down here in Miami and I'd love to work through the NOAA Fisheries office down here and start putting more satellite tags in fish up there in North Carolina.

I'm going to Iztapa this winter.

^^ Thanks man.

^ Thats the only limitation! Dr. Jerry Ault (Univ of Miami) is flying up there with his grad students and me to put some tags in some Tarpon off Minnessott and Oriental sometime before October. Jerry Ault has been putting tags in tarpon all over Mexico, Turks and Caicos, Louisiana, Florida, Texas, and only 2 in NC. His students do some fuckin' awesome stuff!!!!!!

They will be gone by October. Send me and pwrstrkdf250 some tags and some $$$ for expenses, and we'll tag a load of them this weekend at the tourney.

Seriously though, if you need some tagged, and you haven't fished for them in this area, you're fucked. You need to talk to Capt. George Beckwith. He's done a good deal of studies, tagging included, on red drum in the area. You definitely need to hook up with him.

^^^ I fished with George all the time when I was in NC. I am pretty good friends with him.

If you see him, tell him Mark Fitchett says whats up.

He got married down here in April.

My dad is fishing the tournament.

Everyone is tied up until the beginning of September. We'd go out with George anyways if we went.

The Trawl Door now belongs to us. And that's where our marina is.

M&M's is good. Though they have trouble finding decent help, and it is an all out small town rumor mill. Other than that, it's cool. lol
