9/5/1996 - Hurricane Fran. The grassy area between sullivan, lee, and bragaw filled with water, and hundreds of people were out mudsliding. girls' tops came off, alcohol was consumed in copious amounts. This was my 18th birthday and my 2nd week of college.

8/1997 - I joined a frat. strangely, my GPA went from a 1.8 to a 2.7 in one semester.

summer 1999 - Moved to 21 Enterprise St., possibly the best party pad near campus. Also, Study abroad in london, being one of 6 males along with 26 females.

blizzard of 2000. About a dozen girls were stranded at our frat house from a late-night the previous night. being meredith girls, they cleaned the house, and cooked for us for a couple of days. living at 21 enterprise, 01grad and I walked down to the 7even and bought a keg which we carried back in 3 feet of snow. this took a long time.

9/11 - I was living at our frat house, at the beginning of my term as chapter president, and was passed out. i awoke to banging on my door and the guy on the other side demanding that I turn my TV on. I remember asking, "what channel" and him responding with ANY CHANNEL. I spent the rest of the day for the most part staring at the TV in horror.

i'll add a #6: 5/2002, graduation. Finally. after 6 fucking years.

- Being first in line for Duke Campout and sitting behind Wakes bench then our bench for the Duke game in Reynolds 1999

I will never forget walking through the Free Expression Tunnel that day. There was about the same volume of traffic going through the tunnel, but it was completely silent.
