i am also probably missing that, but mainly because i'm seeing them the day before 15 minutes from my house in the booming metropolis of Rocky Mount, VA.

I got my wife tickets to the Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival for end of next month for her birthday present.

After getting those tickets I was checking out some stuff online about the different artists playing at the festival. I was excited to find out that the Southern Folklife Collection here was holding a 25th anniversary celebration with several concerts last weekend, including a free concert at Cat's Cradle. I got to see, photograph and meet Sierra Hull. That was really cool and she put on a great acoustic show.

She was really cool to her fans and came out in the audience right after the show and stood around talking to us, taking pictures, etc. Even signed some of her posters that were for sale for some little kids and just let them have the posters for free.

When I spoke to her my main question was if she was working on a new album yet, as it was three years between Secrets and Daybreak and now it has been three years since that one. She said she wished she already had it out, but she and the other folks she works with have had really busy schedules and it just hadn't worked out yet.
