^Were you standing on the bottom level in the back on the left side? I think I was next to you.
7/21/2005 2:19:47 AM
i was leaning up against the railing on the last step for located on the bottom right side. i was wearing a red cookout shirt if that helps[Edited on July 21, 2005 at 2:24 AM. Reason : adf]
7/21/2005 2:22:57 AM
Oh. Well a guy that looks a lot like the dude in your photo gallery was over on the other side then.
7/21/2005 2:24:24 AM
That was great. Wasn't too excited by the 2nd band and I think people around me were going to riot if they played much longer. But the wait was worth it. Now I just have to make it through my shift at work today. 5:45 came really early this morning.

Great show, I haven't seen the crowd at Lincoln theatre pumped up like that in a long time.
7/21/2005 8:51:37 AM
yesthe lincoln theatre was bumpin last night
7/21/2005 8:59:30 AM
Anybody got any pictures up yet? One of my favorite moments was when all the lights went out and they came out in the dark and all the flashbulbs were going off. That was awesome.[Edited on July 21, 2005 at 9:02 AM. Reason : ?]
7/21/2005 9:02:02 AM
omg that was an awesome concert last night, but now i got small bruises on my arms and some on my feet from this stupid guy beside me who was running into me and kept stepping on my feet
7/21/2005 9:10:44 AM
ahasounds like you've never been to a show beforelast night's crowd was tame (in that respect at least) compared to others at lincoln theatre
7/21/2005 9:27:10 AM
^^Yeah I think I saw you there. If it was you then you were right up front on the left where it was semi-rough. I had to move back because my girlfriend had some huge guy land squarely on her foot and split her big toenail. She did not wish to be near the front after that so we moved over near the rail.
7/21/2005 10:24:47 AM
i kept falling back on the girl behind mesorry, whoever you are

The NorVa show rocked my face. I love Fighting Gravity. I was talking to Peterson (from FG) and he told me the lead dude from As Fast As is the old keyboardist from Rustic Overtones. That explained why he was killer on the keys and filled in fairly well for Stevie Spice. It also explains where the hell Rustic Overtones has been for the last few years.
7/26/2005 12:33:25 PM
i remember when rustic overtones opened for them, they were pretty fucking good. as fast as was ok. They had two songs toward the end of their set that were a lot better than the rest. I really enjoyed those...can't remember the names though.
7/26/2005 2:53:02 PM
oh man, rustic overtones were great back thenglad i got there when i did... never would have expected the show to sell out. glad all i had to do was make a phone call or two or else my nite would have just sucked

4/5/2008 1:06:09 PM
So the other thread got eaten in the server crash, so I asked spookyjon to bump this one instead. So far all I can find out is that there's a show in NYC on August 9th and a show in NoVa on the 8th. Tickets for the NYC show are still on sale at ticketmaster and the NoVa show tickets should go on sale next Friday, the 11th. Fingers crossed for a Lincoln Theater show somewhere in there.
4/5/2008 1:16:13 PM
I got tickets for the NYC show.if they do more I'm sure they'll come to LT.that would save me some money but its a good excuse for a weekend in NYC oh well.
