the trade we would lose a reliever (Parrish) and one of the first basemen(Gibbons) for a better batter

by "get another pitcher", i meant, get a better pitcher.

pitching is definately the weakness of the team. imo, thats what they should improve on.

yeah i think our bats are stacked, and gibbons is an alright hitter

sober's right, we need to focus on bringing in a dependable pitcher... maybe a starter, and move bedard or cabrera to a long-reliever role

we just need a pitcher who will CONSISTANTLY give a decent outing each time. maybe not win every game, but atleast give the team a chance.

poinson, chen, and cabrera all are very up or down. they either pitch fantastic (like chen against the yankees) or the pitch horrible (like chen last nite)
