how about making the links under "last post" (last post name and username) highlighted in red, or some color that stands out. makes it easier to read.

I like the new approach.. but i do too think its a little overly cluttered. But i like the new more friendly user stuff too.

youre using 1600x1200 on a 19 inch?!?!? good god man! I may be blind now, but it won't be long until you go blind with that sort of resolution. I'm only running 1280x1024 on my 21 inch

definitely keep the 'started by' as well as the 'last post by'.

i'll ignore threads that are started by certain people... as i'm sure others do, and that way, we know who started those threads.

also it's helpful to know who last posted to see if it's been updated since you last looked at it.
