You'll just have to trust me when I say that the screen captures are only a fraction of how remarkable the actual video looks.

dear lordone day comics books will be respected
9/11/2004 3:13:26 PM
This definitely looks like a step in the right direction away from the crap like CATWOMAN, THE PUNISHER, and LXG.Now, if the general public would just think of stuff like SIN CITY, GHOST WORLD, AMERICAN SPLENDOR and ROAD TO PERDITION when they think of comic book movies.
9/11/2004 3:16:49 PM

9/13/2004 1:05:44 PM
so I guess this is the "yellow bastard" story line?
9/13/2004 1:07:43 PM
The screenplay's adapted from four different stories ("Sin City," "That Yellow Bastard," "The Big Fat Kill," and "The Babe Wore Red") all intersecting a la PULP FICTION.
9/14/2004 12:42:53 AM

trailer is fucking badass. I was prematurely worried that they would screw up the movie and not relate the tone of the comics, but all worries have ceased.I wonder how much my old Sin City comics will be worth after this movie turns out to be shit hot.
12/21/2004 12:39:24 PM

1/9/2005 4:58:24 PM
Does the casting of Elijah Wood as Kevin strike anyone else as odd? I mean, the guy was a cannibalistic sociopath, right? At least it should be interesting. . .
1/9/2005 5:50:36 PM
This movie looks like it's gonna kick SO MUCH ass! I may have to find the comics somewhere just so I'll be up to speed or whatever. I really dig this film-noire stuff (ie, Max Payne). And props to all the fine-looking femmes in the trailer, but goddamn if those Jessica Alba scenes will not give you nose bleeds.

^^^^ - I'm sure it'd be easy to follow, but as far as deep character development goes, I'm sure they can't get into it too much in the movies ... it's going to be based on 3 of the Sin City storylines (The original, which is Hard Goodbye, The Big Fat Kill, and That Yellow Bastard) ... I have all 3 graphic novels if you'd be interested in reading them, I read the comics a long time ago, but I can't remember shit. I just remember them being awesome as hell, definitely stoked about the movie.
3/25/2005 2:21:05 PM
This should be awesome. Benicio del Toro is an added bonus for me.
3/25/2005 2:35:02 PM
