Interesting that despite MASSIVE piracy in porno, you never see these guys going after file sharing.

Besides, I would say a huge majority of my 17 gigs is in such files. Get a couple of those full length films and they will take a gig or so on their own.

The RIAA/MPAA is not going after people with copies of Girls Gone Wild floating around.

I'd set up a WASTE server on my server box, but I'm behind a router and I doubt I'd be able to communicate on the network that way since I can only forward ports to one IP.

Ok, if you don't want this to suck down all of scud's bandwidth, you need to do a few things first.

Regardless of whether or not you're behind a firewall, you need to click on "preferences->file transfers-> try to connect directly for file transfers"

If you are behind a router/firewall:

Preferences->IP Address->Force address to your "outside" address.

Make sure your listening port is forwarded on your router.

This will allow much better transfers. As it is right now, all the transfers were going through scud's connection and just killing any kind of speed we had.
