Turkish Walther clone

The Turks can build some guns. Ive never been disappointed in anything that came from that country.

Managed to get a BCM lower @ Rainier yesterday, still at 2009-prices. They already shipped and should be here tomorrow
1/30/2013 7:01:20 PM
hey big man, lemme hold a BCG
1/30/2013 7:40:42 PM
Rainier is awesome to work with, I have had nothing but great experiences ordering from them. Can't exactly say the same about PSA...
1/30/2013 7:49:26 PM
i ordered a pink midlength furniture set from PSA. they sent a set with a carbine length handguard twice. finally got a girl to go to the shelf and lay her hands on a pink midlength handguard and count the holes. shipped the second carbine length back and a few weeks later i still hadn't received the midlength. called them up and they were waiting for the carbine length to return to them. she tracked it and it showed they'd received it. finally got the midlength a day or two later.their customer service folks were extremely nice and helpful, but apparently they have some derps putting together orders.
1/30/2013 7:57:55 PM
Orders take so long to be shipped from PSA that I forget I even ordered something when I get the tracking notification

Anyone want a 20% off coupon for Action Target?
1/31/2013 12:18:09 PM
i ordered a LPK and A2 buttstock/buffer tube kit from Stag on 12/31 and my credit card was finally charged today

Liberals love a good game of unwinnable-whackamole.It distracts them from the drudgery of their normally mundane lives and puts those precious few braincells into overdrive.

Is $50 for a 30 rd mag for a mini 14 ruger a solid price?
2/1/2013 10:28:46 AM
now or 2 months ago?
2/1/2013 10:33:16 AM
With BCM lowers going for prices like this, I'm kind of tempted to sell minehttp://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=327955257
2/1/2013 10:58:34 AM
money > sense
2/1/2013 11:09:34 AM
Wow...I have been struggling with if I should sell my billet lower I got for pre crazy prices. Part of me just wants to make some quick money on it, part of me wants to sell it because I know it will turn into another rifle, and the other part of me wants it to turn into another rifle
2/1/2013 3:23:53 PM
Sell it.

If it is a ruger mag, it is probably worth it. I think they have always been harder to come by than m4 mags. I dont know why ruger didnt just make the mini 14 handle m4 mags to begin with. Well I do, but you know what I mean.
2/1/2013 9:38:40 PM
they didn't design it to use AR mags because back in the early 70s they had no idea that the AR would turn into what it is today and that STANAG mags would be the standard they have become[Edited on February 1, 2013 at 9:45 PM. Reason : they might've still been covered under patents back then too. not sure.]

Oh man that's a classic gun debate right there.[Edited on February 1, 2013 at 9:53 PM. Reason : -]
2/1/2013 9:52:50 PM
How much would an un fired Barnes precision go for now?
2/1/2013 9:52:59 PM
^^the ruger costs way more and is known for its relative inaccuracy. it's not as customizable and mags/stripper clips/chargers aren't nearly as easy to find or cheap. the mini 14 is for dusty old farts who don't want a EBR.
2/1/2013 10:07:31 PM
i was obviously kidding but if i found some trust fund kid and told him that they were just banned it may fly... right??
2/1/2013 10:36:08 PM
yeah, sure
2/1/2013 10:39:08 PM
This dusty old fart wishes that he would have bought a mini 14 back in october. I found 2 on craigslist for 450 each. Now I cant afford one
2/1/2013 11:24:07 PM
it was my grandfathers and he left it to me after he passed away. I'll prolly just hang on to it since my pops said i could have one of his AR's. Also have a M1 carbine laying around somewhere as well. Its not the first generation but I believe its the 2nd gen ranch rifle. (dont have the gun in front of me atm)I picked up a 20 rd mag for 30 the other day but found some 30's for 50 a piece. I doubt they are ruger mags since they seem to go for $80+ as far as i can tell.

Noveske NSR 16.7" in stock at Rainier. Good for an SPR 18" setuphttp://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3445
2/2/2013 12:10:42 AM
^^in that case, yeah, hang on to it for sure. if you've already got a 20 rd mag, i wouldn't waste money on more mags now. i like the 20s better anyway.
2/2/2013 6:55:01 AM
2/2/2013 7:22:02 AM
I love long rails and I love the NSR but my 15" Evo rail is about as long as I'd want on my 18" setup (unless I was running a can of course). Would still like to see how it looks.
2/2/2013 9:31:36 AM
Yeah I'm putting the 16.7" NSR on an 18" build, and waiting on the 15" NSR to come out to put it on my 16" lightweight pencil setup. The 18" with the 16.7" NSR should look something like this:

I'm thinking about picking up a little subcompact .380. I know they aren't the most fun/comfortable to shoot, but I want something that I will actually carry and can carry comfortably (I tend to wear fitting clothes). Anyone care to try and change my mind?
2/3/2013 11:37:42 AM
.380 in your pocket is better than a .45 in the safe
2/3/2013 11:47:40 AM
Sig p238
2/3/2013 12:37:11 PM
i'd go LCP and spend the money i saved on ammo
2/3/2013 12:40:08 PM
LCP is my leading candidate. Also considering a kel-tec. I've shot my grandpa's p3at and it felt decent.
2/3/2013 12:51:34 PM
If you want to go a little bigger the Kahr PM9 is a great choice. 9mm and small enough to pocket carry
