Per sources, Trump is now considering a 2024 run. He can continue fleecing donors fundraising and scream political persecution about future legal and financial problems.

On the plus side, maybe it's finally dawned on Trump that he won't be president for the next 4 years. It'll be interesting to see how other GOPers planning a 2024 run respond. Trump continuing to dominate right-wing media can't be good for them.

This probably ends with him exhausting every option until Biden becomes president-elect. Democrats expects him to just lay down and give up the moment things look grim after he has ran on "Joe Biden will destroy our country" because thats what our leaders do to us. Giving up now and aiding Biden would make him complicit in the eyes of his supporters.

Someone on CNN said that previous presidents always conceded because at the end of the day, they knew they were all on the same team and that really stuck with me. Trump is definitely not on the same team and that was his whole appeal whether you like his team or not.

I'm not on either side. I'm on the side of the people even though they don't know it. Trump has convinced the MAGA crowd that he cares about them and the establishment has convinced the BLUEMAGA folks that they care about them when in reality both have their own interests and are simply using their followers to consolidate power.

Sometimes it may seem like I'm rooting for Trump but the reality is that I find Trump a useful asset who can drive division that helps expose the establishment while also exposing himself. People realizing that the media, democrats and deep state is half the battle and Trump is helping to fight that fight because we just don't have the numbers to do it on our own.

Of course, if it was the other way around and Trump had a lot more power than the other side, I would be rooting for the party trying to undermine Trump but make no mistake, the end goal is to get rid of both of them. Trump being crushed doesn't help and the threat he presents, at the very least, forces the establishment to relax their boots off our throats just a little bit so we have more energy to fight Trump. Thats progress.

How do we define the teams? People who have some measure of concern about the fate of the country and the world and those who devote themselves to a narcissistic demagogue? I have leaned conservative since upbringing, but I also have a baseline moral compass that cannot be so misaligned that voting for President Trump seems justifiable. The man is horrendous.
