They didn't make you give them your social?
11/5/2007 9:34:48 AM
not even an ID. just asked for my first and last name.there is a rumor they are going to start taking taxes out of anything over 5K in the coming weeks.
11/5/2007 9:52:13 AM
Yeah, most casinos take your social and report large winnings to the IRS from what I understand.
11/5/2007 10:07:18 AM
David, they're only legally required to present a w-2g on transactions over 10k
11/5/2007 6:04:02 PM
Right, he said he won 11K, hence my comments.
11/5/2007 10:50:43 PM
funny thing, it was actually 10K with a 1K "bonus".
11/5/2007 11:22:51 PM
did you tip the dealers[Edited on November 6, 2007 at 12:40 AM. Reason : .]
11/6/2007 12:38:48 AM
i knew going in you were supposed to. I asked the tournie director what an average tip was and she said 5-10%. I gave 600, or 5%.Anything more would have seemed ludicrous.
11/6/2007 1:26:00 AM
well done, a lot of people dont remember/care to.
11/6/2007 1:32:10 AM
So I want a payout from bodog, and I deposited a while back with my card($20). They require me to send in a card verification form, which isnt a problem. I was just wondering if anyone here has any recent experience with cashing out of bodog, and if it was hard to get your money. I have a feeling it will be a pain in the ass, and take a long time, but we will see i guess.
11/6/2007 11:09:42 AM
I used to use neteller with bodog way back when. Ahhhhh, those were the days....
11/6/2007 11:16:26 AM
i know, 24 hour turnaround was the shit
11/6/2007 11:26:19 AM
ATM usage was the shit
11/6/2007 11:29:46 AM
pfftparty's turnaround on neteller was the heat, ~2003in minutes i could click withdraw, have it hit neteller, and pump it right out of the atm
11/6/2007 11:30:16 AM
oh man, and remember those reload bonuses?
11/6/2007 11:58:11 AM

11/6/2007 12:00:47 PM
those were the days.. I just calculated that the 1500 hands I played yesterday were worth $15 in FFP's
11/6/2007 1:27:37 PM

Does anyone know the odds of two players both hitting sets on the flop? They both have pocket pairs. Here is what I am thinking:If I have a pair of 3s and another player 5s. Lets call the remaining 3s in the deck variable A, the remaing 5s variable B, and all other cards variable C. If we are 9 handed and we burn one card before the flop that means there are 33 cards left. Here are the scenarios that we both hit on the flop:A B CA C BB A CB C AC B AC A BThe odds of one of those happening is (2/33)*(2/33)*(31/33)=124/35937.(124/35937)*6=744/35937 = .0207. Is 2.07% correct? It seems logical. Only reason I ask because for the last two nights in the exact same tournament with the exact same cards I had the set of 3s and an opposing player had the set of 5s. I really think FullTilt is rigged.[Edited on November 6, 2007 at 3:54 PM. Reason : asdf]
11/6/2007 3:53:46 PM
well first off you cant discount the burn card nor any of the other cards you dont knowyou dont know if they ahve a 3 or a 5 or not[Edited on November 6, 2007 at 4:03 PM. Reason : e]
11/6/2007 4:03:33 PM
I was assuming that no one else had a 3 or 5 and that the burn card was not a 3 or 5.
11/6/2007 4:08:42 PM
unlikely? YesRigged? No way

I'm a little bored of poker right now, but may be down for a tourney if I'm in town, just for the sake of catching up. And if anyone wants to get their asses destroyed in Halo or FIFA after I bust out and wait for the next tourney, fuckin' bring it.
