Also the positive encouragement is only a short distance from the people like the tdubber ITT who bragged about tweeting shit talk at a UNC recruit

I'm sure some recruits like it and some are annoyed by it, either way it's icky to me. Kinda like dudes making unsolicited comments on girl's pictures (although much lower on the icky scale)

Also I'd be curious if any recruit has ever been swayed bc one team's fans tweeted him more, but that is mostly irrelevant to my discomfort.

Harmon is a 3* recruit on every recruiting service, save for Rivals, who hasn't updated in a while. Harmon dropped on most sites from a 4* to 3* from the beginning of the year, so let's not act like he's immediately the best WR on our team.

Still think a lot of the recruiting analysis are higher on CJ Riley than they are on Harmon for us just in this class alone.

Hines is a lock to start. Then you have Ramos, Alston, Cherry, Trowell, Simmons as guys who played some last year. Then throw in the redshirts of Grier and Sessoms, not to mention the 3 guys joining this class.

Harmon will get a chance to make the 2-deep, but I expect he'll redshirt, and I'd be pleasantly surprised if he managed to start next year(without someone ahead of him getting hurt).

Yeah, I don't think anyone was saying he'll start, but he could get some playing time. He already has the frame to play college ball, and seems to have plenty of toughness and great hands. The only knock seems to be his speed (good not great).

I'm with you though. Ideally the guys from last year step up and Harmon redshirts. Ramos was a nice surprise last year and could be better this year. Hines should make a big step forward (hopefully the new OC can get him involved more). Cherry and Trowell have shown flashes, though nothing consistent. Maybe one of them breaks out.

I'm honestly more worried about TE than WR. We really need Moss to be the real deal, because we are super thin there. Right now, I guess McKever is the starter? Off the top of my head, I can't even name another TE on the team.

^TE should be some combination of Cook, McKever, Moss(FR), Dixon(FR), and Autenrieth(FR). One might end up redshirting.

Also, Samuels is "technically" a TE, haha.

Also Dixon and Autenrieth enrolled early, so they should be a little more prepared to contribute early.

I like the class so far, especially with our results for the last few years. In the end it doesn't matter what kinda class you get, you gotta show results with them.

I mean we got some talent at positions of need, my only real question mark is at QB. Also most of the OL desperately needs to RS, most need to put on some serious weight.

Think QB should be the center piece of the next class. McClendon was a 4* but hasn't done much on the field yet, and then you had Meyers as a 2* that was raw but had upside and now you have Parham who is a 3* but sounds like a project as well.
