where can I take adult gymnastics? I feel body weight workouts from here on out are probably my safest option, perhaps a more crossfit style approach to working out now that my body is constantly breaking the fuck down. Need some rings to work with

very nice. What would you suspend them to while away from the gym? I suppose I could suspend them from the basketball hoop in our indoor court. I'd even be out of the way of the people playing. I suppose all you need to find is a high school or playground near by and get creative. I've got a birthday in under a month....hmmmm....

mowed the grass (more like weeds ) and then went for a 2 mile run in the neighborhood and just got back. I generally HATE running in the heat these days, but every so often I feel like sweatin' my ass off. It's about 92 out here.[Edited on June 5, 2010 at 1:34 PM. Reason : ]

^ I hugged you yesterday!Also, ran the hardest half marathon of my life so far this past Saturday (6/5/2010). There were so many more hills and the heat and humidity really started getting to me around mile 10. Also, mile 12 was all up hill. My chip time was 1:59:16. That is the slowest half I have ever run by about 15 minutes. I'm a little disappointed, but I feel that I wasn't conditioned enough to run hills for over 5 miles nor was I completely conditioned to run in the heat as well as I wanted to be. I placed 135 out of 600, though, I guess I can't complain too much.edit: Also to plead my case that I'm not a fail runner is the fact that I ran a 7:15 pace 10K split. After that, the hills got really nasty big and long. It really slowed me down.[Edited on June 7, 2010 at 11:20 AM. Reason : I never stopped running once, though, like many other people.]

So I took a 70 minute cardio blast class today with my kickboxing instructor. I call this class ass-kicking class II. it is 50 minutes of sprints, suicides, lunges, squats, laps around the track, running stairs, imaginary jump rope, jumping side to side front to back. Soooo hard. Then she adds 20 minutes of weights and abs. I seriously look like I just went for a swim in my gym clothes.

Oh man!! I'm part of the Charlotte metro pass for the y. This class is at the university branch. Tabitha is my instructor. If you false start with the sprints or suicides she makes us do 10 boy pushups and this is when EVERYONE is beat. Very difficult. I love hate her so much!! Ha!
