yea i read over those and i put my money on complete BS. the 2 warrior talents go against the way i think blizzard wants warriors to go. most other abilities we have that increase our AP, or dmg output, or crit etc have no effect or a negative effect (to balance).letting us be immune to spells and gain ap and crit?theyve also tried to nerf intimidating shout more than once saying that our unlimited aoe form of cc was overpowered. why would they add something thats aoe effect all targets completely stunning them for up to 10 seconds? while itd be awesome its just too unbalanced

I have to say Id go back to my rogue if I could zip around smacking 8 people for 800 damage in a few levels. Seems extremly far fetched. I mean, there is really nothing complex about it. You can do the math yourself if you like. Bottom line is, you do much more dmg with much less mana. The only "benefit" mages get from int is a 1% crit per 50 int, which is complete and utter garbage. It's a little different for priests, as you guys have to balance mana regen and +healing, but you'd still rather have way more of those 2 than a bigger mana pool, as you can make up for a smaller mana pool using pots in PVE. Healer PVP is completely different though. As you're not gonna be spamming heals on a tank with a huge health pool most of the time and using smaller/faster heals that get a smaller bump per point of +healing, having a ton of +healing is a waste in PVP. the point is .... a level 60 mage could get to 9k mp ... imagine a level 70 mage with level 70 gear ? there's only a few ways for our characters to advance ... more hp more mana more damage. I'd see casters in the 10k-13k or so area by 70. As horridly as hp scales in this game, there's no way any class would keep up with the damage potential of that mage. Mages now with the best gear imagineable are only topping 5.5-6k when the stars align... that would be a mediocre 70 mage doing 8-9k. wsg will need 1 mage instead of 3 ... just send healers with that mage-assassin to get back a flag. mage makes it alive and ggalso the concept behind +healing is a shade different to +damage. +healing allows you to cast bigger slower heals ie druids and pallies ... and substantially lower levels and achieve the same healed amount as a regular 60. since encounters are tuned to heals at level 60 and not heals from healers with 1k +healing, it makes mana regeneration amazingly effective. combine that with talents to make heals completely free and it's no wonder why pallies and druids have rediculously high mana efficency. priests and shamans also can act in the same capacity.[Edited on July 1, 2006 at 2:22 AM.
