lol refs sure aren't doing us any favors
12/31/2017 5:07:43 PM
1 def int, 2 off int, and unnecessary roughness, all not called so far.
12/31/2017 5:08:32 PM
what an awful challenge
12/31/2017 5:32:48 PM
Troy and Joe are slurping Shula as an OC, as the Panthers have zero points on the board 28 minutes into the game.
12/31/2017 5:36:54 PM
Kuechle is going to be a fantastic head coach some day.
12/31/2017 6:24:23 PM
Joe Buck's talking points:1) Playoff implications2) Cost of the stadium3) vamp
12/31/2017 6:36:32 PM
We’re gonna screw this up
12/31/2017 6:51:43 PM
nice offense ya got thereGod I hate having to root for the Panthers
12/31/2017 6:52:29 PM
You'd love to have the Panthers offense
12/31/2017 6:58:06 PM
Zero pass rush, and then guys running free when we do get there

Gonna screw the seahawks
12/31/2017 7:11:51 PM
I wonder if Ron has a hobby that he's really excited about, because he never seems to give a shit about football. RC helicopters I bet.
12/31/2017 7:16:35 PM
What the fuck was up between Newton and Olsen today? They definitely weren't in sync. Shit show all around. GG.
12/31/2017 7:36:27 PM
Olsen has a pretty piss poor demeanor when things aren’t going his way
12/31/2017 7:38:25 PM
Shame the titans and ravens get in instead of a hot team like SD. Dug too big a hole.
12/31/2017 7:39:12 PM
Ravens falling apart in the last minute. Bills might sneak in.
12/31/2017 7:55:37 PM
Well, on the brightside, the defense was pretty solid today. Probably the best they've played for 60 minutes since before the bye. The offense was a complete shit show though. Won't win a playoff game like that.
12/31/2017 8:08:52 PM
Rivera said if New Orleans was blowing out Tampa, that he would've begun resting starters. I wonder if they (starting offense) were all expecting New Orleans to handle their business and get benched early in the game so they didn't prepare fully. That seems pretty half-assed, but might have been part of it.
12/31/2017 8:10:29 PM
don't want to pile on when the team obviously had a bad game but I kind of have a better feeling about newton and olsen getting healthy again in the off season then us doing anything in the playoffshas newton even had a full week of normal practice this season? can't blame him for being off at times, also aikman had an interesting point that he seems to be a pretty streaky guy to begin with
12/31/2017 11:55:10 PM
Newton is a bigger, slower Vick.
1/1/2018 7:21:58 AM
Atl had a pretty simple task on D: stop CMC & Olsen. The receivers are a joke with all the injuries & jstew out made the running game nonexistent
1/1/2018 8:19:06 AM
Everything else that needed to happen, happened. That makes the loss hurt a lot more. But I guess the home field advantage was only going to be good for one game anyway.I wish the Saints had won, and bumped down the Rams. Then I could have gone to see us play in LA. Oh well.Looking ahead, if we beat the Saints...we want to get the Eagles in round 2, yeah? We already beat the Vikings this year but the Eagles are the weaker team heading into the playoffs?
1/1/2018 12:04:26 PM
Eagles have a garbage offense without Wentz.
1/1/2018 2:01:18 PM
Almost guaranteed we'll have a losing season next year based on past results:Sine the inaugural season, our games under/over .500 has fluctuated like this:-1, +4, -1, -4, 0, -1, -7, -1, +3, -1, +3, 0, -1, +4, 0, -6, -2, -1, +4, -1, +7, -2, +3bold = Ron Rivera/Cam Newton EraNot a single consecutive winning record in team history, and 5 straight seasons of jumping the .500 line.
1/3/2018 7:56:22 PM
That’s not really how these things work though. Otherwise the browns wouldn’t be shit every year - they’d be due for a good year. It is still funny to me that we had 3 straight division titles but still didn’t buck that trend though ^[Edited on January 3, 2018 at 8:05 PM. Reason : A]
1/3/2018 8:04:28 PM
it’s always silly to take things like that seriously
1/3/2018 8:56:46 PM
The Browns trend has far less variation. I saw a list of each team's season-to-season change over the past 30 years. The Browns average a change of 2.48 wins per season, #26 in the NFL. The Panthers are #1 at 4.52, and as the ^^numbers show, it's rarely in the same direction two seasons in a row. The Panthers, season-to-season, are the most inconsistent team there could be.
1/3/2018 8:57:55 PM
Yeah and that’s interesting - it really is. Makes you wonder why that’s the case or if it’s just dumb luck (luck maybe isn’t the best word). But it just doesn’t serve as any predictor for future results.
1/3/2018 9:04:05 PM
Rivera signed to 2 year extension. Obvious decision that I’m glad was made, although I wouldn’t have minded an extra year or two
1/6/2018 2:12:34 PM
Me when we played the Saints a month ago:
1/7/2018 12:35:22 PM
I'd say throw the Week 3 game out completely, both teams are significantly different. AP was a still a Saint and Cam was still heavily limited by his shoulder. The Week 13 game is much closer to what we should expect today. Need to clean up our mistakes and get more pressure on Brees. One thing to keep an eye on is AJ Klein is no longer on the field for the Saints. Instead it's Manti Te'o who is less athletic and didn't practice against Cam and co. for the last 4 years. Should be able to exploit that matchup with CMC and Olsen.
1/7/2018 1:08:58 PM
CMC's ability as a blocker is such a huge part of Cam's run game. I don't think I've noticed it as much as I have so far in this game.
1/7/2018 5:03:31 PM
our fucking receivers....
1/7/2018 5:07:42 PM
That missed catch was so bad you can't drop a pass when Cam puts it on the money as that doesn't happen all the time.
1/7/2018 5:14:52 PM
at some point our DC is going to have stop blitzing Brees
1/7/2018 5:38:11 PM
Gotta get to em with their tackle out. Also they missed that very obvious hold on Ingrams catch
1/7/2018 5:41:28 PM
Don't think we are coming back from this
1/7/2018 6:01:45 PM
There’s no way we win this game. Their receivers can make tough catches, ours can’t
1/7/2018 6:02:25 PM
No pressure on Brees, no chance. This one looks over.
1/7/2018 6:03:34 PM
prepare for all of the Hot Takes after this onethey’ve already begun
1/7/2018 6:50:12 PM
You don't win friends with salad field goals
1/7/2018 6:54:01 PM
we Gott this
1/7/2018 7:00:06 PM
We’re still in this
1/7/2018 7:09:29 PM
Imagine the bounty for a hit like that.
1/7/2018 7:21:50 PM
oh no, does Carolina have a vastly overrated, immature, attention seeking like a 12 year old, laptop stealing, NCAA violating backup QB?oh, he's back![Edited on January 7, 2018 at 7:30 PM. Reason : d]

1/7/2018 7:43:58 PM
