Arsenal wipe their ass with that kind of money too you know....

Also I still find it hilarious that ribs actually believes Pochettino will stay when the bigger clubs come calling. More money in every facet of the game and not working with Levy as your director. Win win. If Madrid, Man City, Chelsea, Bayern, and United come calling for your manager and you aren't already at one of these teams they are going to leave. That is how football works these days unfortunately for the smaller clubs.

If anything it speaks to my admiration of Pochettino that I want him over Mourinho. Typical ribs, can't understand simple things. Actually there are only two things I dislike about Tottenham, Daniel Levy and you. Spurs fans in general are much more likable than Arsenal fans.

Why do you hate the fact that United has so much money to burn? No one is even saying they didn't do it the right way (unlike Chelsea/City).

Arsenal aren't poor but they are not at that level either.

Call it idealism if you want and I really don't hate that United have money to spend, shit that is the only thing keeping us from being completely irrelevant right now. I am just saying lets not act like Arsenal haven't spent money either. Only team in the top 4 currently that can actually complain about spending power is Leicester.

United should accept that chinese bid for rooney and play for a better draft pick.

lolz. Rooney won't take it because he still wants to play in the World Cup. Although 27 million quid for Rooney is ridiculous. More than what we paid for him all those years ago. Plus I am pretty sure Rooney wont be going anywhere till he breaks the record at United. I can see him going back to Everton to finish his career off though.

It United can come back and beat Midgetland we can see the two best highest paid players in the world in the Super Cup!!

Wow NyM410 is very optimistic, United actually have to win a game before even considering winning the Europa for this to happen.

I aint talking about history. I'm talking about the future. Teams like Arsenal and Spurs do not have the pedigree to win a European Championship in their DNA. Ever.

Arsenal/Spurs would never have pulled off an Istanbul like Liv did. Or a 1999 like United did. nom saying?

It's very hard to win the Champions League and its a credit to Liverpool and United that they have won so many... but I can remind you that Arsenal was 15 minutes away from winning one before Almunia happened. So to say they never can is quite silly.

Herb Sendek was minutes away from winning the ACC championship. That's my point. It's not in Wenger/Hoddle/Sendek's DNA to ever win the Champions league

Massive match today, can United upset the mighty Shrewsbury who are involved in a heated battle for relegation in football league 1?

The favorites to become the relegation avoidance champs will look to gain momentum from Old Trafford before their crucial fixture against relegation favorites Colchester this Saturday. Manchester United who are coming off defeat to the mighty Danish Champs Midgetland, playing after a break of 2 months, will have their work cut out for them as they may be forced into playing football to get a result.

West Ham is going to murder us should we hold on to this. We have been faffing about for 35 minutes. Good finish from Smalling, not sure he meant it but a goal is a goal.

Payet against this team is going to run ragged at old trafford.

In an internet world of overreaction, the arsenal overreaction from sunday is truly popcorn.gif

These people are losing their minds when they're 5 points behind with 11 matches left. You would think they just need to burn the club to the ground and start over from the comments on arsemania and /r/gunners tho

People are finally getting fed up with Wenger's bullshit. Just got announced ~200m in the bank and he buys no outfield players in the summer when it's painfully obvious a midfielder was needed. Keeps playing Ramsey with Coquelin when it clearly doesn't work. Inexplicably won't play Campbell after he had a pretty decent run. Chamberlain's made no progress in 4 years. Walcott makes as much as Sanchez and puts seemingly little effort in.
Plays Gabriel in huge matches when he can't even speak English. Plays Flamini. Dicked around a couple years back when he could've bought Higuain. Hell he could've paid the extra 10m and got Suarez.

It's more of a culmination of years of transfer market stupidity, lack of leadership on the field, and inept tactics. Same inconsistency every year. Another February, another bed shutting. And it'll probably be the exact same thing next season. Buy 1 good player in the summer, leave the squad short of making a true title run, get hopes up in October, injuries hit the usual suspects and the squad is short.

Arsenal need a real first choice striker (I'd love Aubameyang), another midfielder that can play along Coquelin (would love Kante), and a winger.

I don't know why I just typed all that out.

As horrible as this season has been for United I fucking love LVG for this past sunday.

Academy team *check*
Massively favored against *check*
Arsenal fans been cocky *check*
Unheard of 18 year old with a brace *check*
Arsenal bottlejob *check*
Arsenal fan meltdown *check*

Wenger in, its the gift that keeps on giving every February/March when they fail yet again. Arsenal puts out a young inexperienced team they lose 8-2. United puts out a young inexperienced team we win 3-2. I still can't get over how we actually showed up and played proper football that day, let alone win. Now I promptly expect us to drop points to whichever mid/bottom table team plays us next.
