So what, 8 in 5 games with Peyton? Not exactly a fair stat[Edited on October 16, 2014 at 9:24 PM. Reason : Look at vereen. Belichick = idiot]
10/16/2014 9:24:19 PM
Looked at Vereen
10/16/2014 9:26:36 PM
does Decker even have a catch
10/16/2014 9:27:07 PM
2 catches 33 yardsand 2 tds on the way[Edited on October 16, 2014 at 9:29 PM. Reason : tds]
10/16/2014 9:28:59 PM
^^ no, he has two[Edited on October 16, 2014 at 9:30 PM. Reason : i did not start Decker]
belichick has been fooling people for years with how and which RBs he uses. only consistent thing is Brady. Or Gronk when healthy or Moss and Welker when they had them
10/16/2014 9:30:50 PM
Ate 5 TD's last week playing against Flacco, why not start off this week with Vereen running up 2 TD's.
10/16/2014 11:31:13 PM
Lost faith in Seattle D, so I picked up and played the pats. I mean, they are playing the jets and geno. Easy points... God damnit.
10/16/2014 11:37:34 PM
I also had faith in the Pat's D
10/17/2014 9:51:17 AM
Good news for all you Geno ownersJay Glazer ?@JayGlazer 3m3 minutes agoBREAKING: The JETS have just agreed with Seattle to a trade sending WR Percy Harvin to NY for conditional pick. FOX SPORTS has learned.
10/17/2014 5:30:00 PM
yes, I'm picking up Genohe didn't look like a total retard last night and I don't think Flacco can keep up his hot streak
10/17/2014 5:54:22 PM
tke what's your record in fantasy this year? wondering if it's worse than my 1-5 record
10/17/2014 6:28:18 PM
it's identical to your 1-5 recordand I blame taking AP 4th overall
10/17/2014 9:58:42 PM
lots of 1st round picks have been relatively shitty this year. I took McCoy.Megatron has been hurt a lot. Charles has had like 2 good games. Lacy has sucked. Forte has like 1 TD this year. AJ is hurt.
10/17/2014 10:47:11 PM
I know scoring is different, but considering that Forte is #2 in RB fantasy points in my league and likely in the top 5 in other leagues, I'd argue that he is no 1st Rd bust at the moment.
10/17/2014 11:15:45 PM
Yeah he's been solid but scored his 1st TD in the Panthers game in week 5. Dunno about last week. With how poorly most of the other consensus 1st round RBs have been, he could easily be higher if Cuddles didn't throw so much.
10/17/2014 11:54:55 PM
well I fucked up dropping Vareen and starting NE DEF, might lose for only the second time this week
10/18/2014 1:05:37 AM
Pick one RB:J McKinnon @ BufP Thomas @ DetA Smith @ BalNo good options there really but i'm leaning toward Mckinnon since he's the only real "starter"
10/18/2014 9:59:06 AM
Yeah McKinnon probably, but I wouldn't expect much from himEvaluate this trade:Give Brees and Odell beckhamGet romo and Andre Johnson We're both 1-5 so I figure what the hell. My rosterQb cutlerWR Julio jonesWR mike WallaceRB Shane vereenRB Isaiah CrowellTEA Martellus BennettFLEX justin hunter
10/18/2014 10:19:46 AM
^I would lean toward taking that trade. Although if you could get a RB from him, that looks like where you need help too.Thoughts on who to start...0.5 PPR (pick 2)Frank Gore @ DENJoique Bell vs NOReggie Bush vs NOAlfred Morris vs TENMy head says Gore/Morris are my two best RBs so start them...all the projections/rankings this week though have Gore kinda low.
10/18/2014 12:17:28 PM
Forte had 2 more TDs last week against the FalconsAnd he leads the league in receptions (46) for 376 yardsOn pace to finish with > 2000 yards.[Edited on October 18, 2014 at 12:26 PM. Reason : .]
10/18/2014 12:23:22 PM
^^I would probably start Gore and Morris. If Bush wasn't coming back from an injury I would start him against the shitty saints, but it's hard to tell which one of those guys will put up the numbers this week. And yes, in no way, shape or form is Matt Forte a bust this year. That conversation just needs to end because it's silly.
10/18/2014 12:57:01 PM
I hate Cuddles more than anybody, but he is utilizing Forte better than ever.Forte is hands down the 2nd best RB in the league. 500 yards from scrimmage in his last 3 games and if you're in a PPR league he's a no brainer[Edited on October 18, 2014 at 1:16 PM. Reason : ,]
10/18/2014 1:13:05 PM
He's also likely to break down by fantasy playoff time at this pace. He would, I believe, have the most single season touches in the history of the NFL at his current pace. Every other player who has had the same kind of workload in a given season has either a precipitous decline the next season, gets injured, never recovers from that workload and is done (see Larry Johnson, Jamaal Anderson, Jamal Lewis, Ricky Williams, etc.), or some combination of the three. This is especially true after a certain age, say around 25 they just can't recover. You can say the same thing about Demarco Murray who is on pace to set the NFL record for carries in a season. If he does you can forget all about drafting him next year.Even the one guy who seems to buck this trend (Tomlinson) has a great year followed by good year kind of pattern.
10/18/2014 4:06:59 PM
so I'm assuming you're in a keeper league?
10/18/2014 4:16:57 PM
^^oh man...i'd forgotten all about larry johnson
10/18/2014 4:18:13 PM
I am actually, though I don't have Forte. I kind of wish I did since he's been one of the more consistent RB1s in the NFL the last 5 years, but he's eventually going to wear down and/or become injury prone from overuse like all the other backs with that workload do, just ask people who kept say... Arian Foster after 2010.
10/18/2014 4:25:20 PM
Standard scoringPick two:Andre EllingtonFrank GoreBranden OliverCJ SpillerPretty sure I'm starting Ellington, but I'm indecisive on Gore vs OliverPick 1:DeAndre HopkinsMalcom Floyd
10/18/2014 8:04:32 PM
^ Oliver/Floyd, Oliver's on fire and Hopkins is #2 WR in a run-first offense helmed by an interception machine with a spaghetti noodle for am arm.
10/18/2014 9:31:15 PM
So my running backs are a dumpster fire, yet I'm somehow still 3-3. It's a PPR league, and I received this trade request today:I give Isaiah Crowell and receive Travis Kelce and Jerick McKinnon. My RBs:Darren McFadden, Crowell, Doug Martin, Zack StacyTE:Jimmy Graham (I picked up Charles Clay to fill in while Graham heals but would drop him if I accept this trade.)His RBs:Carlos Hyde, Ben Tate (which is probably why he is so desperate to get Crowell), Marshawn Lynch, McKinnonThoughts?
10/18/2014 9:42:17 PM
seems like a no brainer to me. you need a decent running back
10/18/2014 11:59:02 PM
now the Jets will have two good WRs with no one to throw them the ball.
10/19/2014 9:22:58 AM
Bradshaw vs CIN or Alfred Morris vs TEN?
10/19/2014 9:39:03 AM
I'd roll Morris. Know that he is the go to back, Bradshaw seems to get all of his points on check down throws.Byes are killing me this week. Need to pick 2 of these 3. Standard scoringRonnie Hellman vs sfReggie bush vs noMark Ingram v DetroitReuben randle v Dallas
10/19/2014 9:43:49 AM
I'm tempted to put in Big Ben at home against a HOU DEF that has allowed multiple TDs in each of the last 4 games and take Matty Ice out of my starting lineup. Then again, I can see Ben ending that streak. Just not sure Matty Ice is going to fare any better in Baltimore. Also need to choose between K. Benjamin and Malcolm Floyd.
10/19/2014 9:49:54 AM
I'd go Hillman and Randle^^Nothing wrong with starting Roth over Ryan^
10/19/2014 9:58:22 AM
This feels so wrong...2QB league, 2nd QB:Drew Brees @ DetroitCarson Palmer @ OaklandCurrently starting Palmer, but feels wrong to sit Brees coming off a BYE even with Graham questionable.
10/19/2014 10:33:46 AM
Brees is going to be under pressure all game. Lions do have the #1 defense and probably the best front-four in the league. Personally, I wouldn't start him. (full disclosure, I'm just regurgitating what Sunday NFL Countdown is saying right now)
10/19/2014 11:04:20 AM
HELP!Martellus Bennett vs MIA orGreg Olsen @ GBand then FLEXSammy Watkins vs MINBishop Stankey @ WAS orThe Other TE that I didn't select to start at TE
10/19/2014 11:22:51 AM
I would say Greg.Flex: Pick OneAhmad Bradshaw vs CINAndre Williams @ DALJ. Stewart @ GBRonnie Hillma vs SFAndre Holmes vs ARI
10/19/2014 11:36:50 AM
^I'd take a gamble on Holmes, then Williams or Bradshaw if you decide to play it safe.McKinnon @ BUF or Spiller vs MIN?
10/19/2014 11:49:34 AM
^ McKinnonso, regarding my earlier question....if I start Greg at TE, who out of the Flex options should I go with?
10/19/2014 12:01:22 PM
I would roll the dice on Sankey. With Marshall being healthy now, it will likely take targets away from Bennett. Sankey is the feature back today and will get goal line carries and at least 15-18 touches at the low end.
10/19/2014 12:30:42 PM
James jones vs cardinals, cecil shorts vs browns or sammy watkins vs the vikings for flex spot?
10/19/2014 12:44:22 PM
^I like CecilPick 3Andre Johnson vs PITTPierre Garcon vs. TENTorrey Smith vs. ATLEddie Royal vs. KC (might be hurt still)Larry Fitzgerald vs. OAKGuess it really comes down to Torrey or Fitz[Edited on October 19, 2014 at 12:48 PM. Reason : f][Edited on October 19, 2014 at 12:51 PM. Reason : g]
10/19/2014 12:47:54 PM
^^ I'd go with Cecil because I think the Jags will get down early and will throw the ball like crazy in the 2nd half
10/19/2014 12:50:46 PM
^^I like the matchup for Torrey Smith with Atlanta the most out of those.
10/19/2014 12:59:27 PM
dammit I should have picked up Doug Baldwin
10/19/2014 1:09:49 PM
Got super excited to find out that Jimmy Graham was going to be active for today and promptly benched Owen Daniels for him. Of course Daniels immediately catches a TD.
10/19/2014 1:34:36 PM
brutal start of the day for RB2'sReggie Bush is injured, Alfred Morris is injured, Fred Jackson is injured
