duke looked terrible tonight. bad matchups, poor tackling, couple dropped passes, fumblecopters... uncch* 's passing game scares me though... switzer is going to destroy our secondary
11/21/2014 12:54:35 AM
Yeah we're gonna get fucking rolled. Not sure I can tune in for that one. Plus it's thanksgiving with family around. Fuck that. That's a game you watch by yourself.
11/21/2014 6:04:16 AM
i was already worried about playing them...it just seems like a bad matchup for us. last night didn't ease any of my concerns.
11/21/2014 8:22:08 AM
Theres no way this shitty ohio state team should be amywhere near the other 1 loss teams but somehow the stupid committee wpuld put them over a 1 loss fsu.
11/22/2014 1:26:57 PM
wake forest has a high school stadium
11/22/2014 2:44:15 PM
VTECH And Wake Forest...some shitty football. Punt all Day.
11/22/2014 2:53:59 PM
a 0-0 game would be kind of cool (before OT of course)
11/22/2014 3:03:52 PM
i think it'd be cool if there were real stakes at hand...instead it's wake vs vt so it's just sad.
11/22/2014 3:04:59 PM
God I hate VT so much.
11/22/2014 3:19:41 PM
the coastal division is an abortion (as if the cheaters 5-3 "championship" rings weren't proof enough)
11/22/2014 3:28:01 PM
0-0 football > 0-0 soccer
11/22/2014 3:29:39 PM
The Coastal isn't that bad this year. GT and Duke are both respectable. VT is gross. Everybody else is just meh. The Atlantic is more top heavy...but the bottom is pretty terrible with State, Wake, and Syracuse.[Edited on November 22, 2014 at 3:33 PM. Reason : s]
11/22/2014 3:33:28 PM
UNC is also terrible. The bottom of the coastal is bad. There is basically GT and Duke and Miami. And shit.
11/22/2014 3:38:45 PM
lol what a fitting end to regulation
11/22/2014 3:39:47 PM
UNC isn't even close to being on Wake's level of bad. Hell, UNC will probably run us next week.
11/22/2014 3:42:04 PM
Obviously wake is the worst team in the Atlantic. It's also obvious that VT is the worst team in the coastal.I'm not comparing wake and UNC. I'm saying that the bottoms of both divisions are equally bad. But the Atlantic actually has good teams in it as well. The coastal not so much.[Edited on November 22, 2014 at 3:59 PM. Reason : UNC is bad. they can't stop a damn flea.]
11/22/2014 3:57:23 PM
So who would win between ohio state and wake
11/22/2014 3:59:46 PM
I'd argue the bottom of the Atlantic is worse than the bottom of the Coastal (right on cue, Wake beats VT...so lol at me). Not that it really matters...it's a silly argument either way. Neither is good.
11/22/2014 3:59:58 PM
Samaje Perine's last two games: 59 carries, 640 yards, 8 TDs
11/22/2014 5:05:41 PM
Did they try to spell James backwards and then fuck it up?

it will be hilarious if BC manages to pull off a win
11/22/2014 5:34:15 PM
Everything going wrong for fsu
11/22/2014 5:45:02 PM
If they survive this then im convinced they are unbeatable
11/22/2014 6:26:13 PM
ballgame. perfection. until they lose, they're still the undisputed best team in the land
11/22/2014 6:31:27 PM
the refs are ruining Cal...2 consecutive TD called back after review and both were the wrong call wow
11/22/2014 6:45:26 PM
Fuck ND
11/22/2014 6:54:57 PM
here's a stat to throw around the water cooler: the all time NCAA receptions leader is now an ECU Pirate. vote for Justin on Capital One Cup's impact player of the week!http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/feature/index?page=caponecup

Can't imagine any movement in the top 4 this week. They all won against inferior competition. No win would really be a "resume win". I'd guess the top 4 stays the same. Bama, Oregon, FSU, Miss St.And I can't see any team moving into the top 4. TCU was off. Ohio St struggled with Indiana for 3 quarters before pulling away. Baylor won, and you could maybe make the case to move them ahead of Ohio St (if only because Baylor's win was somewhat more "impressive"), but I don't really see that happening this week. Ole Miss will drop out of the top 10. UCLA will move up, but you still can't put them ahead of 1 loss Baylor. So I think the top 7 will likely stay the same. And really, those are the only teams that matter at this point.[Edited on November 25, 2014 at 10:19 AM. Reason : d]
11/25/2014 10:18:53 AM
Dont worry FSU will manage to lose to Florida, Alabama will lose to Auburn, Miss State will lose to Ole Miss. We will be left with Oregon, Ohio State, TCU, and Baylor in the playoff and people will be like WTF
11/25/2014 10:33:04 AM
The idiots down here in Miami want to fire Al Golden and hire Butch Davis back. Now I'm not going to say that they can't be a little upset with how the season has gone, but if they did let Golden go, which I don't see happening this year, maybe next if there is no improvement, you certainly don't hire back a guy that oversaw a UNC program that was put on probation while he was there, never had a conference record above .500, & never beat his rival. Dan Le Batard basically called them out yesterday on his radio show for being idiots for even suggesting that.[Edited on November 25, 2014 at 10:40 AM. Reason : G]
11/25/2014 10:40:03 AM
it's stupid to want to hire butch davis.but al golden is a bad coach who hasn't won a single game of significance since beating the 8-win UConn team that got trashed in the Fiesta Bowl...while he was at temple.i never understood the love for golden. he got Temple to win again, but that was much more of a factor of them being in the MAC. they were the only big city, big stadium program in that conference. his abject failure at Miami has been masked by the fact there was an NCAA investigation. guarantee we'll look back on golden at UM like Butch is at UNC...how on earth did they win so little with so much talent.
11/25/2014 11:38:10 AM
woops basketball post[Edited on November 26, 2014 at 2:10 AM. Reason : some great games this weekend eh, rivalry week?]
11/26/2014 2:09:23 AM
has miami really had a ton of talent recently?
11/26/2014 9:22:18 AM
^ That still falls on Golden though, right? This is his 4th year. I don't really know who they have had outside of Duke Johnson, but I think the whole point is that with the way the Coastal is now, a program like Miami should be consistently making it to the ACC championship game.
11/26/2014 9:55:09 AM
Miami's class rankings under Golden per Rivals2011: 36th2012: 9th2013: 20th2014: 12thAnd the RS Seniors this year would have come from a class ranked 16thso yeah, he has talent there. More than enough to do better than 6-5.
11/26/2014 10:04:44 AM
^ this. Miami is so damn inconsistent. They look awesome one week and the next they get their shit pushed in by UVA.

Tv said asu had a timeout at the end of the game. They coulda got the ball back with 15 seconds

LOL UVA
11/29/2014 12:16:28 AM
I cut our game off at 35 to watch this georgia game and wow
11/29/2014 3:27:27 PM
It's mind blowing that GT's 2 losses were to Duke and UNC. If they played either of those teams at the end of the season they would have been easy wins.We could have had 2 undefeated ACC teams in the conference championship and it would have been incredible.[Edited on November 29, 2014 at 3:43 PM.
