start Mike Vick or Matt Ryan?
9/19/2012 6:54:28 PM
Ryan

9/19/2012 7:26:32 PM
Eli @ CAR (Nicks not playing??) orA.Smith @ MIN(Yahoo has Smith with 15.7 pts, and Eli with 18.5, but the no Nicks thing has me thinking...)alsopick 3 WR (they are all projected to have 8ish-9ish pts this wk by Yahoo):Welker @ BALWallace @ OAKBowe @ NOCrabtree @MINRice @ GBI'm not good at fantasy, please help my sorry ass. this is my league w/ coworkers, so I *have* to win
9/19/2012 9:22:39 PM
would you do this trade?wes welker for santonio holmes and alfred morris?I'd give holmes and morris, outside of an injured jeremy maclin, i've got crap for flex position[Edited on September 19, 2012 at 9:27 PM. Reason : add]
9/19/2012 9:25:01 PM
^^I'd go Wallace, Welker, and Bowe. And then Eli
9/19/2012 9:36:54 PM
I agree with ^ in regard to ^^.5 ppr league: a. brown, m. Ingram, k. smith, or p. Thomas for my #2 rb? rice is #1
9/20/2012 6:32:56 AM
^ I'm all in on Andre this week
9/20/2012 9:10:11 AM
Yep, go Brown this week.Somebody dropped FJax in our league. Would anyone drop Donald Brown or Torrey Smith for him?
9/20/2012 9:51:56 AM
absolutely would drop donald brown for him[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 11:01 AM. Reason : ,]
9/20/2012 11:01:29 AM
Non-PPR:Antonio Brown @ OAKorB. LaFell vs NYGLaFell has been solid so far this season, but I keep waiting for Brown to finally have a breakout game. He gets targets, just hasn't found the endzone yet.
9/20/2012 11:46:35 AM
both should be good optionsi side with lafell only because the pit/oak game could be a blowout and end with the steelers running the ball a ton in the second half
9/20/2012 12:46:03 PM
What one player do I bench out of:Doug Martin @DalMarshawn Lynch GBDarren Sproles KCDeMarco Murray TBRight now I'm benching Murray because Tampa is ranked #6 against RBs and the three other guys are against #20/22 ranked teams vs RBs.My receivers are meh outside of my two starters, so I'm rolling deep in RBs[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 12:53 PM. Reason : asdf]
9/20/2012 12:53:09 PM
Was offered Chris Johnson for Darren Sproles....non ppr league...thoughts?
9/20/2012 1:21:08 PM
Fuck no. Johnson is done. Sproles is going to continue to put up consistent number, and if you get return yardage, even better.
9/20/2012 1:24:13 PM
^^^I would probably bench Murray pick 2 RB (non-ppr):Ryan Mathews vs AtlDoug Martin @ DallasBJGE @ WashAndre Brown @ CarI'm leaning Mathews and Martin right nowoh yeah, and should I start Vick @ Arizona or Flacco vs. NE?[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 3:40 PM. Reason : asdf]
9/20/2012 3:39:11 PM
Yeah, I'd stick with those 2 RBs if Mathews is good to go. As for the QB situation, I'd go Flacco just because I'm not a big fan of Vick with his WRs banged up.Pick 1 TE (terrible, I know):Olsen vs. NYGGresham @ WashPick 1 RB, 1 flex WR/TE, & 1 WR/RB:Olsen or GreshamMorris vs. CinA. Brown @ OakRidley @ BalMaclin @ AriA. Brown @ CarCJ2K vs. DetHawkins @ WashLeaning towards Morris as RB, A. Brown (Pitt) in the WR/TE flex and stuck between Brown and Ridley as the WR/RB flex. Thoughts?[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 3:49 PM. Reason : ]
9/20/2012 3:47:21 PM
Ridley all dayfor the first time since Corey Dillon, the Patriots appear committed to a single backhe'll easily be a top-10 RB at seasons end, could crack top-5
9/20/2012 4:17:01 PM
I offered the following trade, and it got accepted:Give:Peyton ManningDwayne BoweGet:Michael VickRyan Mathewsam I crazy or is this not a great trade for me?
9/20/2012 4:19:53 PM
Steven Jackson was taken out after the 1st half last week with that groin injury. And he's playing @CHI this week, so I'm not too high on him. Should I start Donald Brown (v. JAX) instead?^I think it's a good trade. Vick is definitely a risk though. But assuming Ryan Mathews can stay healthy then I think you got a pretty good deal.[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 4:22 PM. 9/20/2012 4:20:58 PM
pick two:michael turner @ SDandre brown @ CARchris johnson vs DETkevin smith @ TENmikel leshoure @ TEN
9/20/2012 4:54:48 PM
i'd go Andre Brown and then either Kevin Smith or Mike Turner. I'm not really crazy about any of your options though. Thoughts on ^^?[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 6:35 PM. Reason : d]
9/20/2012 6:35:24 PM
9/20/2012 6:41:07 PM
^ count me in. still starting him this week despite my better judgement
9/20/2012 7:24:42 PM
i really screwed the pooch on my RBs it seems. i thought michael turner would be a TD/yd/PPR machine, and surely CJ would bounce back from a horrible year last year. hopefully mendenhall comes back soon, since someone dropped him in my league and i had first waiver priority
9/20/2012 7:43:14 PM
wow...Andre Brown is putting up some big numbers against the Panthers
9/20/2012 9:18:00 PM
Woot, picked up and started Martellus and Andre Brown
9/20/2012 10:32:46 PM
i shoulda listened to someone ITT who told me to pick up martellus when aaron hernandez got hurt. i picked up dennis pitta instead
9/20/2012 10:34:58 PM
Glad I dropped Tynes for Cundiff before kickoff.
9/20/2012 10:36:21 PM
^^^ me too[Edited on September 20, 2012 at 11:11 PM. Reason : /]
9/20/2012 11:10:48 PM
Cruz will only play good if I bench him and suck it up when I start him. Who the fuck is Barden?
9/21/2012 6:52:10 AM
^No. Cruz will only play well when Nicks is on the field drawing more of the coverage. Last night it was basically doubling on Cruz all night.
9/21/2012 7:26:08 AM
^ Or when he's dropping balls (1st game).
9/21/2012 7:35:00 AM
down by 27 points in one league cause the Giants fan I'm playing against started Bennett and Ramses fucking Barden
9/21/2012 9:16:01 AM
^ Patting my self on the back for picking up Barden yesterday morning, now he can be trade bait. Ethical question. The guy I'm playing has Garcon (D) and Maclin (O) so I'm thinking he might want to pick up a waiver WR. His only good bench WR is Holmes. Would it be unethical to go through and pick up and drop all the good FA WRs to put them on waivers till after Sunday? Also, does anyone know if NFL.com will let you do this? I've seen some leagues that won't let you drop a player that you just picked up, I think they had like a day wait.
9/21/2012 5:05:53 PM
you could drop one and keep him one night and then drop and he'd be on waivers
9/21/2012 5:23:29 PM
Just traded away Mcgahee and K. Smith and got Trent RichardsonThinking that will be a good move, although McGahee has looked good thus far.(doesnt actually take place until monday/wk.4)After this weekend, my RB stable will be:ForteRichardsonMatthewsCharlesC JohnsonA BrownWith brown likely to drop in a few weeks[Edited on September 21, 2012 at 5:27 PM. 9/21/2012 5:28:37 PM
Figuring that Bradshaw is still seen as the #1 back ... I mean, Ill hold him till we find out whats going to happen, and I had started him last night, so I got my intended purpose with him fullfilled ... but I'm not convinced that he will be someone I can count on for the whole season.
9/21/2012 5:32:22 PM
^^i'd do ingram (I have a good feeling for a TD based on no real reason) and schaub
9/22/2012 7:39:51 AM
Totally unethical. If i was league commissioner I'd manually assign whoever he wants to his if you did that. Now picking up someone and stashing him on your bench is fine, but if you're playing in a league that doesn't have controls for that sort of thing its just wrong to prevent someone from picking up someone to play.I knew when David Wilson had that fumble against the cowboys he was gonna be in coughlin's doghouse for awhile but i still hate to drop him. Bradshaw is a walking injury that's why i was so high on wilson in the first place. Brown looked good but anyone would look good against the Panthers. He's had enough injuries the last 7 years to justify holding onto Wilson Philips for one more day.
9/22/2012 11:24:26 AM
Start Jason Witten or Owen Daniels?Pick one for flex spot:Owen or DanielsBoldinHeyward-BeyIsaac Redman
9/23/2012 8:09:04 AM
Hate to jinx him but even without Garcon this could be a HUGE week for RGIII. Cincy d has been horrible so far
9/23/2012 9:48:06 AM
^ Witten, simply b/c the Texans haven't passed a lot this season.I'd go Redman simply for the amount of touches. My question, Pick 3:BGE v WashingtonGreg Jennings v SeattleJordy Nelson v SeattleJulio Jones v San DiegoDoug Martin v Dallas.I'm leaning towards BGE, Nelson and Jones. Not sure I trust Jennings coming off of his groin issue just yet. Got a feeling Martin gets stuffed against Dallas
9/23/2012 9:54:23 AM
BGE, Julio, Doug MartinPick two (for w/r/t flex):Ryan MathewsAntonio GatesDaryl RichardsonDez Bryant
9/23/2012 10:01:15 AM
id go BGE, Martin, and Julio myself. I don't wanna play Jennings hurt if i dont have to, and id rather not play jordy if jennnings is out versus a studly defense like the Seahawks.Dez for sure. Richardson is a tough call. The rams are missing 4 starting OL, but chicago is vulnerable against the run so they may have to try to run a lot because they sure as hell wont be able to pass block. I'd start him over Gates vs Atlanta's fierce pass defense probably.Torrey Smith's brother died last night so not sure if he'll play...
9/23/2012 10:32:38 AM
does this sound crazy to anyone? Sometimes I feel like i overthink matchupsAlfred Morris (vs Cin) over Doug Martin (vs Dal). I know Dallas got steamrolled by Lynch last week, but that Cincy defense is unbelievably bad. I could see Redskins dropping another 40 burger this week and Morris getting 25 carries.Mark Ingram (vs KC) over Stevan Ridley (vs Balt). I know the Baltimore run defense isn't that strong this year either but I feel like NEP are going to try to spread them out and go 3-wide with Hernandez out. Ridley seems like one of those 15 carries, 65 yard kind of games that may or may not have a TD. Ingram on the other hand is facing an AWFUL KC defense and might have like 60-70 yards with 2 goalline TD's. I also have Sproles so I'm really just trying to maximize my exposure to KC D. Percy Harvin (vs SF) and Jordy Nelson (vs Sea) over Demaryius Thomas (vs Hou), VJax (vs Dallas), and Desean Jackson (vs Ari). This one is just tough. Hard to start anyone vs Houston's defense (incredible vs the pass so far but that's partly due to competition). I don't love Jackson with Maclin out because Arizona can either put Peterson on Jackson and neutralize his speed, or they can put Peterson on the other WR and double team Jackson the whole game. I don't see vick fairing well against Arizona's pressure either. VJax vs Dallas seems like a reasonable start, but I'm just not really feeling it. On the other hand, Harvin vs San Fran is obviously a bad matchup but Harvin might be a little too good (esp since its 0.5 ppr) to bench vs anyone right now. I don't love Jordy this week esp if jennings is hurt, but he's a lot more consistent than VJax.
9/23/2012 10:44:16 AM
indy D vs jacksonville or jets D @ dolphins?
9/23/2012 10:44:26 AM
I'd go Jets. They could force some turnovers vs Tannehill. Gabbert isn't good either, but neither is Indy's defense...
9/23/2012 10:47:50 AM
^^^I would have a hard time sitting Nelson. Harvin is doing well though^^JetsPick one at flex:Owen DanielsBoldinHeyward-Bey[Edited on September 23, 2012 at 10:56 AM. Reason : .]
